I loved this dress and would buy it if I could afford it. I wore this to a closing gala event, but for the events I have to attend this dress would fit so many areas. The top was a little loose for those with smaller chests, so I would recommend double sided tape just to be safe. The silk was amazing, perfect for the weather. I would actually get this dress again now knowing the fit of it. The lower part is very snug and the top was very loose and just didn't fit right for the event I was attending. I would probably next time go a size down for the top to fit better it for the right event. It didn't work for the event opening reception I was attending. I wore this to a Pink Tie event where i was there with clients but also to kick off spring and social season. In a sea of women in pink dresses, this dress was perfcet with rose gold accents. Loose enought i felt comfortable all night, soft enough material for spring and summer. Over all runs a litle small, mostly in the hips. Im normally an 6-10 depending on deisgner and fit. In this designer i tend to be 8-10. Average chested so top was loose but comfortable. I went a size up just to have it looser in the hips because i was around clients, but the 10 fit well, especially because i have athletic thighs and backside. This dress is on my to buy list becuse it is perfect for business cocktail to weddings to formal with the right jewels.

I rented this as part of my unlimited just for a something I could wear to work. It does make a good day-to-night if you are going to a dinner or drinks after. The waist on this dress hits your natural waist, but for me that is not where I like for items to hit me (I have a short torso). I ended up not wearing it and just swapping it out for another unlimited piece.

I loved this dress. The material is perfect for spring and summer, especially hot humid weather. It is loose but the cut still makes it perfect for dates, winery trips or everyday. I loved this coat. It is more dressy than you think of a typical "trench". It is a soft pale pink and very soft material. I wore this over a dress to a wedding while in church and outside. It was the perfect for the weather and event. It is not overly structured like a trench. The arm length was perfect for me (most jackets are short in the sleeve for me).

I was worried this dress would be very form fitting and show everything ... it was perfect. Probably one of the most comfortable dresses that I have ever worn. I did not need to wear spanx underneath, though I had them ready just in case. The long hit the perfectly, the elastic at the top was a little loose but I never had a fear of it coming down (did wear a black strapless bra so no one could tell if it slid a little). It was the perfect dress for a gala at an art gallery. The event was not black tie formal, so the long simple black worked and the angles of the dress gave it that something extra without being over the top. I did not wear any other jewelry except for long drop earrings. All night long I was approached with compliments on my dress. Very comfortable to dance in. This dress is on my 'must buy' list.

This was my backup dress for a gala event. The dress was stunning and the right length for being as tall at I am. The reason that I didn't wear the dress to my event is that the top was slightly big on me and I didn't want to be worrying about it throughout the night. The side without the shoulder just had some extra material, so it would probably have worked better on someone with a slightly bigger chest. If I would have sized down I think the waist would have been a little tight. But this is a striking dress, very comfortable. The waist is a little smaller considering the top but that may just be on me.

I wore this to a couture fashion show. I received so many comments about the dress ... it 'looked like art' or 'looks like a canvas' and 'so unique'. Especially for the event it fit in so well. As for the dress, it is beautiful and very comfortable. The sleeves are cut in a little more than I am use to so for me personally it look a second to get to the "this works great" when I first tried it on. With a slightly bigger cup maybe it would have fit better, up top (I'm slightly on the smaller side) but only if you are overly concerned about that. The draping at the top really makes it work for anyone. The lining is slightly fitted. I did wear a waist cincher just to smooth out some areas (I'm self conscious after an injury where I can't work out so that is probably just me), but otherwise the dress was great.

This was my backup dress and I ended up not wearing it to my event, but will defiantly keep it in mind of future events. From other reviews, people said that the hips were tight. I didn't find this to really be the case for me (and I have athletic thighs and butt). The top however was a little big for me in the Large (medium wasn't available), so on the side without the sleeve it just hung wrong on me. For someone with a slightly bigger chest it would have worked. That said, the color is beautiful. It was slightly darker than what is shown in the photos, but really beautiful. It is very comfortable, and if you are having one of those self-conscious days, this dress is great! Again will defiantly keep this dress in mind for future.

I was very comfortable in this dress. I have very long legs, and while very confident, because I was going dancing and would be spinning a lot, I was concerned about the length. All turned out well, it was short but I was not uncomfortable. The top was very big on me though. I actually ended up using double sided tape on my shoulders to help keep it in place and pinned the front a little so it didn't hang as low on me. The dress was delivered without the belt which was disappointing, but I had another belt in my closet that actually worked with the dress and everything pulled together nicely.

Wore this to a friend's birthday and received compliments all night and days after from friends. As other reviews say, it feels a little heavy, but after a few minutes you don't notice. I wore this to a cocktail hour during a wedding weekend in Florida and loved it. I had ordered a small and medium, wore the medium just because I didn't want to bottom too clingy, plus I have long legs and didn't want it too short. I ended up pinning the shoulders to my bra straps had no issue with the front draping down to far. For myself I liked the fit of the small up top but the medium for the bottom (Straight and narrow build but athletic legs).

I was really happy with this dress. The hips were a little fitted (I have very athletic legs) but the rest of the dress was great. I have a slimmer upper body, so where the dress crosses over at the top, I actually used double sided tape to keep it closed so it didn't reveal too much. I was able to wear a normal bra which was great for dancing all night long.

Wore this to a gala during the White House Correspondents Dinner weekend. Dress fit perfectly. I received many compliments on the dress. Train can be a little long, so just had to remember to pick it up going up the stairs, but still worth it. Would buy this dress if I had a chance to.

Wore this to a wedding in Tennessee and loved it. The only issue I had was the back did show the back strap of the strapless bra, but wearing my hair down made up for it. Dress was a little more blue than it appeared in the photo but still a great color.

I wore this dress to a beach wedding in Hilton Head and loved it. Tons of compliments plus it was very very comfortable. If I rented again I would consider going down to a small (normally wear a medium and sometimes a small) because it was a little loose in the top but still worked.
