I ordered this dress in a medium without even getting a backup size because I was SURE that the small would not fit (I have been an 8 lately and have a full bust). This dress in the medium was HUGE - so big that the tie at the waist could not even pull tight enough to get it to stay up, and it just looked like a huge unshapely bag. This is also probably better for taller women as the length was also not right as it was a few inches below my knees (and I am 5'5"). I had high hopes since I love any dress that ties or wraps at the waist, but this looks nothing in person like it does on this model.

This dress is cute and was appropriate for a rehearsal dinner for a wedding that I was in. The fabric is gorgeous - much nicer than it looks in the photos. This dress was a little snug on top (although I'm sure fine for a normal to smaller bust), and I could barely move my arms (there is no give at all in the sleeves) - which is the only reason that I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Overall great dress for the occasion!

This dress looks great in the picture, and I rented it to wear to an evening Christmas party. I ended up wearing the other dress that I rented because this dress looks like an american flag made out of sequins - it looked much more bright pink / white / blue in person than in this picture (it looked to me like a silver with muted colors, but it is very bright). The fit of the dress was cute though!

Wore this dress to a company Christmas party in the evening and loved how I felt somewhat covered up because of the long sleeves, but also that the v-neck was a little bit sexy - good combination for this type of event. This dress was definitely flattering as well! It is definitely tight - but the lace pattern covers up minor bulges and imperfections!

I needed a dress last minute to wear to a black-tie optional event for work, and it worked out well, I felt like I was dressed appropriately even though I did not want to wear a long gown. This dress feels very heavy and adds a bit of "thickness" to the body, however the ruching somewhat offsets that because the ruching itself is flattering. Overall this dress is OK for the right occassion.

This dress is tight in the bust and I had to go up multiple sizes, however luckily the bottom was fit in such a way that even though the bottom was too big, it really was not noticable and still looked good. I wore this to a bridal shower and it was perfect for the occassion, the fabric and colors of this dress are amazing, and I got many compliments!

I love the idea of this dress - love the off the shoulder look and the ruching / gathering on one side of the waist, but this dress just didn't fit that well and didn't seem worth the price. It was VERY short, I was pulling the dress down the entire night, and the ruching was placed in such a way that it actually accentuated any belly instead of hiding it. I wore a much larger size in this dress due to the shortness primarily, however the material was stretchy so someone more comfortable in the dress might be able to wear their normal size. Still love all of my experiences with Rent the Runway though - the customer service is amazing!!

Loved this dress. The combination of the slightly shiny, silkier bottom went very well with the sequined top - made it a little less flashy than some of the full sequined dresses. The dress ran a little bit smaller than many of the other dresses that I have rented - there is no give at all in the skirt part, so make sure to order larger if you have larger hips (I have almost no hips and it was snug). Overall great dress and got lots of compliments!
