Nothing to write home about. The fabric is a thick-lined linen cotton, so it has some structure. Be sure to use your iron, or it looks atrocious.

This is a perfect vacation day dress. It's short, breezy, fun, and colorful. I think it could be dressed up for a day event or brunch. I wore it with a jean jacket and white tennis shoes. My husband really liked it, and he never comments on any of my clothes.

So pretty and fluttery

Cozy and great movement
The color is more rust than red. It is a cardigan with a hefty thickness and looks high quality. The cardigan is open on the sides, so it's almost like a cape but figure-flattering. I wore it casually over jeans and a T-shirt, which elevated my look. I also wore it for a more formal business meeting over a black romper, and it looked very sophisticated. I did not try it, but it would look beautiful with a leather belt wrapped around it. The fabric is thick and not practical for travel. It took up a quarter of my carry on.

Effortless leather. Anyone can pull this off!
When I unpacked this dress, I thought I could never pull off this look. However, it fits so beautifully and is so flattering that it looks effortless. It does wrinkle, so make sure you keep it on a hanger. I packed it for travel and had to steam it. The fabric has a bit of stretch, so it fits like a glove. The skirt is a bit long. I am 5'4", so it was a midi length on me. Rent it! You will get so many compliments. And it looks fabulous! I wore this to a work event at a performing arts venue and a private condo party in NYC, and it was perfect for both events.

Fall brunch date dress
This dress is so pretty. I wore it for a fall brunch date, and it was perfect. The dress zips shut and has built-in boning (like a corset) which gives a beautiful shape, but doesn't allow for a lot of stretch. So make sure to get the right size per your measurements. I layered a jean jacket over it.

Wore this to work meetings and a business lunch. It looks perfectly proper and professional. Tweed doesn't have much give, so make sure you get the right size. These pieces also tend to be a little short in the torso area (not cropped), so it falls just below the natural waistline, not above the hips.

Liked the high waist. Fit perfectly around the waist. Held everything in. The fabric was heavy and thick. Maybe okay for fall or winter, but too hot for summer. The leg was too long. I was dragging it, so I wasn’t able to wear it out.

All about proportions
The fabric is beautiful. The waistband has no give, so make sure you get the right size or bump up if you’re not certain. The skirt is long. If you are on the shorter side like me, the hem will fall below the calf – not quite midi, not quite a long skirt. Proportions are important with this one. I could not quite make it work.

Most Versatile Pants - Dress up or down
These pants are light as air. The fabric is so soft and airy. The fabric has a slight sheen that makes them look expensive/fancier. The lines of the print are a work of art on their own. The creamy color is even more delicious in person. I wore these pants on three occasions. 1. To work with a cream blazer and cream heels. I got so many compliments. 2. For the theater, with a black cami and black heels. 3. For brunch, with sandals and a gray t-shirt. I would consider buying these pants with the matching top. They were quite versatile.
