I wore this dress with cowboy boots to a "dress-up" Christmas party in a small mountain town. The style worked well with the cowboy boots and the lacy skirt flowed nicely while and the attached underslip did it's job of concealing while dancing. Really the perfect dress for this. The 8 fit great -- the back-up size 10 was a little too big in the body and gaped at the armpits. The sequin work was just gorgeous and I received many compliments. I rated it a 4 instead of a 5 star for one reason -- the sequin wraps all around and I found it to scratch under my arms which was annoying and uncomfortable and made my inner arms red by the end of the night. Although I really loved the dress, for this reason I would not likely rent it again.

These spanx really work well. I'm terribly inflexible and had a hard time getting them on to start with, but once I got both feet in, pulling them up was not as difficult as I thought it would be -- others had made it sound like they were so tight it would be a challenge. For me, it was not so tight to be uncomfortable, but they were plenty tight to suck in the rolls around the belly and back. It made me feel more confident all night and not worried about whether or not I needed to suck in my gut.

I needed a cute dress to wear with cowboy boots and I could not have made a better choice than this dress. I wore it without the belt and thought it was very flattering. Currently, I'm a pretty solid size 8 and had to wear the back-up 10 -- I was unable to zip up the 8. I loved this dress so much, I am confident I will rent it again in the future.

Ordered a medium based on size chart, but should have gone with a small. Wore it with a strapless dress and this undergarmet kept slipping down -- especially while dancing. If you're borderline sizes on the chart, I recommend going down a size.

The medium fit great in the top, but the length was about an inch long for me (I'm only 5'2"). I wore it to a cowboy wedding with my dressy cowgirl boots and the combination worked, but a higher heel would have been better for the length of the dress.
