Yes it seems like a weird itchy fabric but as soon as it's on I don't even notice anything, it's comfortable and airy but not see through. I wore a strapless bra and it lined up perfectly that I didn't need to try to hide it.

The jumpsuit is very cute. The front snap is very used so it kept unsnapping. I'm not crazy about the pleat up to the shoulder, gave it a bold shoulder/shoulder pad look. Can wear with or without a belt, with a belt dresses it up a bit. Length is good. I'd say this is not for someone with a long torso, if I raised my arms above my shoulders it would get stuck down at the crotch and feel awkward but I never had to do that after finishing my hair.

The 8 was really tight, maybe a 10 would have fit better but they didn't have that available. But in all honesty, after checking all sitting and dancing positions it loosened up and was fine. The fabric is firm but very flexible and has nice "give" to allow all movement. My biggest disappointment was that the slit was NO where near as high as the model picture, complete false advertising. I don't like how worn the dress looked (color seemed faded) but everything I've gotten from RTR has had a very worn look.

I probably could have worn a 6 but I have larger calves and didn't want it too tight. You can tie the top as tight as you want but it was loose around the butt. It's got a really long torso, so it may hang low at the crotch or look like a diaper butt if it's too loose on you but that only happened if I pulled it down. It's black so even when I did that and asked my husband about it, he said you can't see what I'm talking about. I really like this jumper.
