I usually wear an 8, and this fit me perfectly. The material is a little thicker, nice for cold nights, but has stretch to it. Like a lot of other girls said, it hugs you in all the right places. I wore a regular bra, with the straps tucked so they weren't visible. Just remember that you should bring a sweater or something if it's cold. I didn't and I was freezing when I stepped outside (because of the open back). This dress wasn't my first choice, but it worked out great. Awesome dress, definitely worth the rental.
