Didn’t suit me
This was a little too big, but very bummed to say it also just didn’t suit me. I was so excited by the design. I found the neckline to be unflattering and kind of cheap looking, which would not be resolved by a smaller size. It was a little tight in the chest too (which is not unusual for me, but which means I likely couldn’t size down anyway).

Back rides up
Ok, I’m not 100% sure what about this dress makes it not work on my body. I have a big chest (and it was a little tight in the chest). My butt is decent sized but not generally big enough to cause any issues with clothing. But this dress rides up like crazy on my body in the back. We are talking a couple of inches shorter in the back, to a degree that it’s not wearable, both bc it looks bad and would show my butt if I bent over slightly. It’s puzzling and I can’t remember having this issue before. But my best guess is the slight tightness in the chest is pulling the fabric and preventing the whole thing from sitting right? I dunno, but I would say beware if you are curvy.

No room for boobs in any size
So I got this in an L first before reviews. I’m like a M-L, usually L mostly because of my boobs in anything that doesn’t have much stretch. I’m rarely ever an XL and if I go up that high it’s usually too big everywhere else. I was hoping that maybe it would fit in the boobs and I could buy it and have it altered because I LOVE THE DRESS. Don’t bother, my chesty friends. Honestly I felt zero difference trying to get the XL over my boobs. Maybe if you are a small with huge boobs…idk, though. I’ve been a small with huge boobs and something tells me this dress was just not made with us in mind.

Small in bust, slightly sheer
So I was going to wear this on vacay, but (as noted in other posts) it needs a cami or something if you have a chest as it doesn’t button. I brought a white one but the dress is actually a bit sheer and the bottom of the shirt showed through and looked insane, so I never wore. Still like the dress, but a little too much work in my opinion for my breast size.

Snap buttons are wildly easy to pop open
This dress technically fit over my bust, however for some reason they made the whole top half these crazy easy to open snaps. Unless you get it a size (or more) up, any kind of movement (or breathing) would open them. It was cute, but not cute enough to bother trying to safety pin it together.

No boob room at all
I’m typically a medium or large. I got this in a large. It zipped, but my boobs were 100% smashed. Not that little amount I try to get away with sometimes if I really love something. Totally, unforgivingly smashed. Just another bummer experience of trying to get a slip style dress with boobs. Still giving it 3 stars because the fabric is pretty and I assume someone with another body type might love it.

I was excited about this bc I had a dress in a similar cut years ago that was the most flattering thing ever…this was not. If you have any insecurities about your stomach, this will put them on full display.
