The fabric is really stretchy and forgiving making this a reliable rental. I'm normally a size 4, 130 lbs 5' 2", and I've only gained about 15 lbs at 29 weeks pregnant. I probably would have preferred the size 4 but the size 6 fit just fine. In fact, I could have made the size 8 work if needed since it's so stretchy. Beware it is long for short people!

I rented this dress for the long sleeves and to hide my problem area (stomach). Overall, I was pretty happy with it. With the help of Spanx, my tummy wasn't a worry area for me that night. I did feel a little exposed with the cut of the top, but it was fine. Keeping in mind I have a short torso, I had to safety pin the dress tighter at the base of my neck and use fashion tape to make sure my chest was covered. I definitely could not wear a bra. It's pretty short in length, so you have to feel comfortable with a mini skirt. I would only rent again if I lost some weight - so skinny girls, rent away!

I was overall really pleased with this rental! It was great because I could accessorize to dress this look up or keep it more casual. The one bad part of my evening was that I could not use the restroom alone! I typically wear a size 4 which fit, however the 6 zipped up a lot smoother and was not as tight across my back. I don't think of myself as big chested, but the top was a little tighter than I preferred even in the 6. It kept sliding off center as I moved. There is a stitch there to help hold things in a little better which I liked. Unfortunately I'm about 5'2" and it was just a tad too long - could have hemmed an inch or two off if I owned this outfit. Luckily, with a change to higher heels the baggy pant legs weren't as noticeable.

I don't think I've ever gotten more compliments in my life! It's a great dress! You can tell it has been stretched a bit over time and the sleeves are pretty long, so I wore a size smaller than normal. I also felt the sequins looked a bit worn up close. However, those details did not ruin the look. People I didn't even know complimented me, so overall, that made up for the minor imperfections. My problem area is my stomach and I was able to wear a pair of Spanx no problem with no seem lines showing. I felt comfortable since it wasn't too tight against my body. Note to the party people, it was a little warm on the dance floor since the fabric is so heavy! Great for a fall or winter wedding!
