Love a nice white shirt!
The fit across shoulders is fine. Thing is, if you're not smaller on the bottom, the shirt puffs out so much that there's no "definition" between the puffed out part and your hips/bottom half. The shirt is not long enough to tuck in to anything that isn't high-rise, so it isn't very flattering unless your bottom half is more narrow than the puff-out part of the shirt.

High Quality
Very boxy and the fabric is heavy. The quality is beautiful, as is the fabric, but it felt overwhelming on me. It's hard to imagine how this fabric could be anything but overwhelming, because it's so thick and heavy. If the jacket were more form-fitting, the heaviness of the fabric would likely be confining. Maybe if it were less boxy around the waist? I'm no tailor, but it's a shame because the quality of the construction and the fabric is outstanding.

Beautiful color and Excellent Quality
It's a nice fit. The fabric is very heavy, but high quality. It's too warm for indoors, unless maybe you were in a meat locker. I wore it outdoors once in below-freezing temperatures and didn't need a coat. I liked the draping feature more than I thought I would. The only reason I removed stars was the impracticality of wearing it indoors.

Beautiful, but long!
Dress is gorgeous. It is flown, yet fitted, and very flattering. However, it came to my ankles, which wasn’t on the menu for my sartorial purposes. I was hoping it would be a length similar to what is pictured on the model, but alas, no. I could have worn a size smaller, which wasn’t available, but I’m not sure that would have helped with the length. I’m not tall, nor petite. I’m 5’6”, but even with heels, this dress was too long.

Snug on thighs. Felt like a mermaid.
And not in a good way. Waist was fine, length fine, but my thighs are a bit wider than my hips and I didn't like that shape. If you're very straight, this will look good on you.

Super cool color and fabric. However... the length of the jacket is goofy. It goes to the end of my fingertips. It looks like I'm a kid wearing my dad's jacket. I didn't notice it in the RTR photo, but now I see it. Maybe if you're rather tall, it wouldn't look so out of proportion. Too bad, though, because the fabric, construction and color are marvelous!

So different!
This was such a great dress. Fluffy, but sleek. The tie prevents it from poufing out like an 80s prom dress (plus, it's not neon colored). It looks so elegant and cool. If I had more than one occasion every two years to wear a party dress, I'd buy it!

These are huuuuuuuuge. I’m usually a 6 in trousers. Could go up or down a size depending on brand/cut. These fell to my ankles when fastened. They’re so laughably ginormous, I wondered if maybe they were mislabeled. Could not wear. Nice quality, though.

This is a pretty blouse, but it's very fitted around the middle and has a seriously plunging neckline. Not work appropriate - at least not in my office. Also, there's a little gap underneath the buttons, which will expose tummy flesh, so I didn't wear it, as I meant it to be for work. Also runs small - I'm usually a 4 or 6 (even a 2 depending on the blouse), and the 6 was tight around boobs and ribcage. It would have been ok for going out if it weren't so gross and sticky outside, but there was no way I was wearing it in the heat.

Cool pattern - length is frumpy on me.
Everything about this was great - except for the length. I'm not petite or anything (5'6"), but this was about 2 inches too long, and hit me mid-shin, which is supremely unflattering. If I had purchased in a store, I would have had it tailored to be 2" shorter. Otherwise, love!!

This was too big for me, maybe even two sizes, but it's what was available, but I knew that when I ordered it. Took off one star because the side slit extends rather far up. On me, ir reached about two inches below the leg opening of my underwear. Because it was too big, the straps kept falling down, too. LOVE the ties detail. Cheerful colors and all-around winner. But get your size, or it won't work.

The fabric is beautiful, and nothing beats a crisp, white shirt. But it’s enormous. I suppose it’s if you’re just going to stand around and pose, but it flops all over the place, because there’s SO MUCH FABRIC.

Fantastic
It pains me to send this back, because I love this coat so much. It is super warm, light weight, great looking, thoughtful "amenities" (pockets, hood, adjustable cuffs, drawstring on hood, expandable with zippers), and an all-around winner. Still too expensive for me to keep, but you won't go wrong with this one. The one negative is that it's too puffy for driving, or even sitting in, a car. But it's puffiness makes it warm and lightweight, so no star-reduction.

Sleek and cool
I ordinarily avoid polyester garments, but this looked perfect for an outdoor event I was attending, and it was. Form-fitting from the waist up, flowing and swishy from the waist down. The pattern is "modern retro" and the whole effect is laid-back hippie elegance. Took off one star for the polyester, but it's definitely a winner!

This is very cute and high quality. It's quite long, though, and there's a lot of material. I'm 5'6" and it went to my ankles. I think maybe a smaller size would have been better, given the voluminousness. It would sit higher and be more fitted.

Solid but snug
This jacket is sturdy and elegant. However, the shoulders are a bit small. I've rented other pieces from Patou without any sizing issues (38 for blouses, dresses). The body/torso fit well, but with the jacket buttoned, it felt as though the circulation in my arms was being cut off. I couldn't cross my arms comfortably. I will try the 40, though it may be too big through the body. If I were buying this, I'd definitely get the 40 and have it tailored. I wish the skirt was available, too!

Great fabric
These trousers are great. The plaid matches everything and looks sharp. However, they're ridiculously long. Even with my highest heels, I needed to pin them up several inches. And I'm not short (5'6").

It's a cute dress. The static cling, however, was off the charts. I wore a size bigger than I ordinarily would have, because it's what was available, though I don't think that has an impact on the static cling. That's not something I would ordinarily even notice, but I couldn't help it!

The Perfect Dress
This dress style (I've tried in several patterns) is so comfortable and flattering. Though I worried about the ruffles amplifying my ass[ets], the effect is the opposite. It's also somehow stretchy, so super comfortable.

This top is gorgeous. The colors are vibrant and happy. Others found it big, but I didn't find it unusually large, and wore my usual size. It is loose fitting, but the shoulders fit fine. I wore it tucked in, and felt great. If it weren't so pricey, I'd purchase it.

Perfect for summer.
This top is so fun and versatile. I've worn it about 8000 times (give or take a few) - for work, for vacation, for going out -- really there's just about nothing that wouldn't work with this awesome top. Best of all, on a hot day, it doesn't touch you - which on a sweaty NYC day is a true blessing. I'm tempted to buy it, but it's still a bit pricey for a used top. This picture doesn't do it justice, and I suppose it might be a little maternity-looking, but I LOVE. LOVE, LOVE that it doesn't cling on a hot day.

Really cool trousers!
I would say these run a little loose - but I tend to be between sizes and wore the larger one. I don't want to send them back, because I really like them, but they're really too warm (they're lined) for sticky NYC summers. They are beautiful -- nice fabric, groovy print, very versatile - they go with just about anything - and flattering. AND they have POCKETS!!! If the discount were a little deeper, I'd buy them. I would also say they don't look "right out of the package" but they're not worn-out looking either.

Amazing top!!
This is one of my favorite rentals evah!!! The colors are fantastic, the fit is perfect at the shoulders, and loose/flow-y in the body, without looking like a sack. The sleeves are full, but the elastic cuffs keep them from getting in the way of work, eating, etc. Divine!!
