Gorgeous gown, true column gown
TLDR: I didn’t think this was the “ideal” dress for my body type, but honestly it was so beautiful I didn’t care. The full review… Loved this dress and the stunning embroidery. Received compliments all night. On fit- it was a little snug in the rib cage and hips (as other reviewers mentioned), but not uncomfortably so. Also, it is longer for a midi dress- I’m 5’7 and it fell closer to my ankles with heels than mid-calf. Note that this is a true column dress and is fitted in a straight line from torso to the bottom of the garment. This silhouette typically works best on taller, slim gals, which isn’t to discourage anyone, but if you’re more pear shaped like I am, you may want to size up.

Has a loose, draped fit, that looks very chic and modern. Looks great with jeans, but I also wore it with a pencil skirt to work during casual Friday (I also have a very formal office). Very comfortable as well!

Fashion forward, yet conservative.
Beautiful dress, but runs a bit wide in the hips. The hem is unfinished, so it frays a little on the bottom. Not a bad feature, but not one I expected.

This dress is a dream... light, airy, yet has vibrant, striking colors.
Wonderful fit. Be advised, though-- the threading on this dress is more gold than silver. The model is pictured with silver shoes, but gold matches much better. The colors are more rich in person... I still get compliments on this dress!

I wore this to my husband's MBA graduation. Inadvertently, dress colors matched his school colors.
I ordered a size 8 in this garment, since the 6 was unavailable and other reviewers said it ran large. This was actually a perfect size for me. It fit a bit more loosely, but was a bit snug in the chest (and I'm only a B-cup, albeit one with a wide ribcage). However, I wore this to a graduation ceremony that involved a lot of standing, sitting, shifting, camera-toting, hugging, etc. In short, I appreciated a looser fit to allow for additional comfort and ease of movement. The colors and design on the dress are spectacular. I dressed up the look with formal jewelry, a blue cardigan, and nude heels, but also wore this the next day to have lunch with friends wearing a denim jacket, sandals, with my hair up. Such a lovely, versatile find!

I wore this to a reception for my husband's MBA graduation.
This dress is beautiful, flowing, and has a very forgiving silhouette. As other reviewers mentioned, the top is large; I used double-sided fashion tape and a straight pin to resolve this issue. The hips are strangely narrow, though: pull the dress over your head instead of stepping into it. I wore this to a reception for my husband's MBA graduation with a beige cardigan, gold necklace, and nude wedges (it was an outdoor reception). I wanted something fun and colorful, since I attend far too many business/networking/graduation receptions of my own that call for the basic grey sheath dress. This was a fun yet appropriate pick with stunning movement.

I wore this to my nephew (my godson!)'s baptism.
This is a well-constructed and fashionable dress. The design is conservative, but the scoop neck is very flattering. The length falls above the knee, but--depending on most office environments-- is still a work-appropriate length (for reference, I also wore this to work with a black blazer and I work in finance). The color is striking (and more vivid in person) and the fabric is heavy and resists wrinkling over several hours of wear. The garment has a bit of stretch and I worried about the tight fit emphasizing my problem areas. However, the size 8 was too large and actually added girth to my hip area that made me appear larger. Overall, I am very pleased with this dress and wish I could purchase it!
