a bit overwhelming on top but it grew on me
The shoulder puff sleeves were a new thing for me, and initially I disliked the dress. But then it grew on me. wore it on a casual work-at-home day. Made me feel trendy and young — I looked cool on the Teams call. And I finally lived my dream of wearing a Farm Rio dress.

This dress was a bright spot of sunshine in an otherwise stressful summer for me.
I wore it several times -- for a dinner out, while working at home (covered shoulders with a shrug during Teams calls, and other places. It makes me happy and I get tons of compliments. It hits right at the knees, and is perfect for happily flatter-chested individuals (proud 34A here!).

It was gorgeous, but I was afraid I'd trip
I'm 5'2, which means black tie weddings are very hard to rent for. All of the long gowns are made for people who are 5'5 and taller. Unfortuantely, even with 3" heels, this dress was too long. But also, the material didn't feel super sophisticated. It felt like cheaper nylon (which is fine, but not really the same as silk or chiffon).

Way too long for my 5'2 frame
I loved this dress from the moment I set eyes on it -- I only wish it were a mini dress, because midi dresses are SUPER tricky for those of us who are petite. The fit was perfect on my upper half, but the dress dragged almost to my ankles. I did not feel sexy. Were this dress not a rental, I would have hemmed off a foot. Sadly, I didn't wear it for the one night I went out this summer -- my 10-year-anniversary. Two stars because it's really pretty and would be great on a taller model.

Pretty dress for a casual wedding
I wore this dress to a backyard wedding in Wilmington, N.C. There was nothing wrong with the dress -- and I got tons of compliments -- just personally, I found it to be a little more conservative. But that's just me! The fit was great -- it was easy to move and wear. And the color is amazing.

Showstopper sexy gown
This gown was everything I ever dreamed of -- the shape was flattering (I am pretty small cheSted) and the length was perfect with 4" heels. I danced all night. Tons of compliments. Only thing was that the 90 degree humid Maryland weather was a bit brutal. The material on this gown isn't flimsy so there were moments I wished I had worn cotton. But after the ceremony things cooled off and I forgot about the heat and enjoyed the gown!

Perfect romper for a summer party!
I am going through a massive romper phase, and I actually secured this piece as a backup (I wore another RTR romper the night before). So happy I did. I was afraid the 2 would be large since I am an XXS on top (super petite), but a pear shape/real 2 on my lower half -- but it worked out perfectly. The color is stunning. I felt like a celebrity.

I was a showstopper at my gig
I love wearing sexy clothes when I play shows (I'm a solo artist, and play with a band), but it's hard to find stuff that I can look good in and move well in. This romper did the trick for a mid-summer gig. The material is thicker than I thought (it would have been perfect for an outdoor party, but I was a bit hot on stage), and I longed for a pocket to store my guitar pics, but it looked amazing and felt great.

A fun and sexy dress for a winter wedding
When I first tried on this dress, I was in heaven. It's the kind of dress someone with a smaller bust loves (no bra required and no worries about anything popping out), and I got a ton of compliments on it. The color, too, is spectacular. The reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it didn't look totally amazing with tights (my husband said it did, but I thought it would have been better without them), and I couldn't get a great photo in it. Part of the joy of renting a designer dress is getting a spectacular photo that makes you feel sexier than you do on a normal day. Still, I would love to rent it again in the summertime to see if wearing it with open-toe heels gives me a different feeling.

Stepping out in a classy dress
For my third RTR rental, I got this lovely deep purple long-sleeve number -- it was a second choice since the original dress I wanted was not available, but it still exceeded my expectations. I felt young, sexy, and amazing for an important dinner date with my husband and his business partners (on a cold December night). It runs a tiny bit tight in the arms and I usually like a stretchier fabric, which is why it didn't get five stars. But I would still rent it again.

The dress made my hair and eyes pop!
I picked this Nicole Miller dress -- my second from the designer -- because I wanted to look amazing at my 20-year high school reunion. And I don't think I ever felt sexier. The color was spectacular. I was surprised the XS fit not too tightly (so it may be a little loose for someone smaller). The lining of the dress rode up once but it was no big deal. Overall a perfect piece!
