Understated stunner
Absolutely loved this dress! It was perfect for the Scarlet Night party aboard a Virgin Voyages cruise (everyone wears red). It was flattering, and understatedly sexy. I loved how I looked in it! Color was fabulous as was the fabric. It had a nice weight to it and felt expensive.

Love this but tight on top
I have this issue with a lot of RTR items - I have a true hourglass figure and dresses will fit everywhere else (or even be too big) but the issue is around the bust. My frame widens from the shoulders to the top of the rib cage/underneath the bust and unless there's some kind of stretch, it won't fit right. I absolutely loved this dress and wore it out twice while on vacation even though I wasn't thrilled with the way the top looked (it was obvious it was too small on the chest). It looks expensive (because it is lol) and I got tons of compliments. I rented it because it reminded me of the dress Beyonce wore in her "Hold Up" video and I always adored that look.

Not for broad shoulders/long torsos
Soooo sad this didn’t work out! I was baffled because it was wayyy too big in the waist, but there was not enough room from the shoulder to the bra band. The top was just wayyy too small even though the waist had a huge gap. I have broad shoulders and a larger bust line (rib cage area) and it was just a big mismatch for this dress. It was gorgeous though! I just wish the top was constructed differently or had some way to adjust the straps to make them longer to allow for longer torsos.

Arms tight but super flattering otherwise!
I skipped this one for a wedding because the arms were tight and highlighted the one area I like to minimize/cover up. Otherwise, it's a safe bet. It felt like a simple LBD, and I wanted something a little different.

Super feminine and beautiful!
I have a Ralph Lauren skirt in similar fabric/print and I adore it, so I was super excited to see this dress available! I absolutely loved wearing it. Tons of compliments. Not too over-the-top for a cocktail attire wedding, just right. Super feminine - I felt so beautiful, sophisticated and womanly in this. It did fit a bit big, I would have loved for it to have been a little more snug.

Slit is wayyyyy too high!
The front slit came two inches below the crotch. Couldn't wear! It was even a little loose on me so it wasn't a fit issue. But the slit goes way too high. Super sad because it's a cute dress otherwise!

My fave dress ever
Wore it to a black tie optional wedding. Super flattering even though my boobs didn't fit exactly within the chest seams. Good hold with the placement of the straps; I didn't feel like I was constantly going to expose myself with no bra. Compliments galore! Super sexy but not too much. Showed off my body in exactly the right ways!

I wish someone in the fashion industry would standardize women’s sizes because several size 16 dresses I ordered from RTR didn’t fit (not even close) and this one was loose. I still wore it on date night and I love it! But wish it fit better.

A Thousand Times Yes
This dress is EVERYTHING! The neckline, the slit, the cutout around the waist. Everything just worked so perfectly for me. I rented this one for a black tie wedding at Tribeca Rooftop in Manhattan and couldn't have been more pleased. Numerous compliments from fashionistas in attendance. Looks really expensive, but the good, understated kind. Really didn't want to return this one. Would absolutely rent again. Would suggest sizing up, as this doesn't have any stretch, and even though I'm normally a 18-20, the 22 *just* fit.

This dress looks really pretty in the photos online- but when it got to me and I tried it on, I realized quickly that it wasn't for me. The top didn't fit quite right, and made me look way more boxy than I am - just not a flattering fit. Also, it seemed much better suited for a spring or early summer wedding - not for an early September wedding (the day was dreary and rainy). Glad I swapped this one out.

Tres chic!
Loved the look of this gown. Minimalist and really chic. Also really loved the length. I'm 5'10" and the Long was *just* skimming the floor -- it's so hard as a tall woman to find a true full-length gown). The material is thick and heavy (but not in a bad way) -- but in a really good way so that it lays nicely on the body and has a delicate structure. Got nothing but compliments all night long at a (black tie-optional) wedding.

I want to wear this gown every day
Wore this to my husband's company's black tie optional holiday party at a museum in nyc. Perfect fit. Comfy. High slit is so on point. Long sleeves are great for winter months to keep warm and demurely cover up arms that you might not be ready to show off in December. Great length- the long fit me just right (I'm 5'10") for a nice floor-skimming length. Would love to rent this again!

Very large and heavy
Earrings were very large, which was what I was going for since my dress was so simple. But these were super heavy! My earlobes hurt at the end of the night. They have a slight costume jewelry look to them, but they worked with my short bob cut and high-neck dress.

Comfy, classy and flattering
Very flattering fabric and cut. Got compliments all night- even though many women recognized this from RTR! Wore this to a black tie optional wedding and was a nice, classy style without being over-the-top for a wedding in a library. Was a little short for me; it's a high-low dress and I'm 5'10", so with 2.5" block heels, the front of the dress stopped at the top of my ankle, and the back of the dress was still about 2" from the floor, so unless you're on the shorter side, I wouldn't expect a floor-length gown here. But, I feel like that length is sort of on-trend anyway, so it worked with my black strappy block heels. I wasn't overly dazzled by this dress, but it did the job at a nice price point.
