I’ve rented a ton of staud dresses and own a few and typically size up to a medium since staud tends to run small in the hips, but this style in a medium just didn’t look great on me. A large would’ve fit me better but I worry it would’ve been too long on me!

great baggy jeans!
i love the levi's baggy dad style so much! i own them in a dark wash and wanted to try out the light wash. i always size up in levi's, usually i wear a 27-28 in jeans but levi's are more of a 28-29 for me. the 29 was a little big in the waist but fit everywhere else fine. slightly long on me but i knew they would be!

weird fit!
these pants are definitely better on someone with straighter hips. sizes up to a medium and they were gigantic on my waist and even with the drawstring to cinch, i had a big pooch from the extra fabric. at the same time, they were pretty tight on my butt. had to wear a big oversized linen button gown to cover up all of the silliness going on between my waist and my hips. the length was fantastic on me though!

the fit was just okay - the waist was too big so it fit more at my hips which made it too long. i needed to safety pin to make it look better on me. if you're tall/have long legs you may be able to get away with a bigger size if that's what's available but short girls have your safety pins ready!
