People were coming up to me all night with compliments. The black layer is stretchy so it's comfortable and the golden (with a green tint kind of?) drapes so no worries if the food's good it is velvet though -- I wore in early spring so just on the line of seasonal. Styled with teal accessories. A slay.

A little sloppy
Super cute and tailored but the metal buttons are visible if you don’t snap them, and it gaps a bit if you do. Didn’t quite fit right. A little stretched out. Definitely smelled of BO.

Good for work. Fabric kind of thin. Not lined. The latch (?) closure at the waist isn't reinforced & with the thin fabric it can pull (they weren't too small)

Just not for my body type
It's not the dress's fault, but basically this was not for my body type. I'm long waisted so the belted area hit me above my natural waist. As such, the pleats gathered right over my belly. My 6yo was all, "Um, mama, no." I opted for the VANNA instead, which was great -- go look that one up. ;)

Looking a little worse for wear
I needed an L, but the M was the only one available. I'd had my eye on this dress for a while & thought that as it seems a bit loose I could get away with it, but no, nope, not at all. Did not fit over my rear end (which is not as small as it used to be but is not totally out of control!) Besides that, though, the dress looks a little worse for wear, with sequins missing & the delicate fabric starting to show signs of wear. Was probably beautiful once upon a time but I don't think I'd have worn it even if it did fit because of that.

Love this little red number!
So this was a back-up dress after my first 2 options were total no-go's. I sort of thought there must be something wrong with it as it was a red cocktail dress available at Christmas. Ladies, there is NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS DRESS! It was so fun & I got lots of compliments all night. In the picture it reads sort of watermelon-colored -- NO! It is RED! Fun, happy red. The waist is fitted & the skirt has enough flair to be both forgiving & flirty. I do see where the top may be a challenge for bigger-busted girls. But in my case my husband said he liked it so much on me I should buy it -- THE TRUE TEST OF SUCCESS.

This was a perfect dress for a party where people were wearing everything from jeans to cocktail attire. Relaxed but still elegant. The large was a bit too blousey so I wore the medium which fit about right.

I wore w/ wide black belt & white button-up. Runs small -- I usually get a 6 / 8 with RTR, and maybe I'm kidding myself with that 6 but the 8 almost always works. I'd have been more comfortable with the 10. But still looked great.

50 Shades of Perfect!
I wore this to my BFF's 50 Shades of Grey themed bachelorette. I was the "mistress of ceremonies." Basically this sucker rocked with red lipstick and a masquerade mask. The sizing was SO SNUG though. The M only fit when I sucked everything all the way in & laid on my side while my BFF zipped it up. It loosed up as the night wore on -- not "loose," but I could breathe. Get a size up. But amazing.
