Hmm
I was especially excited to try this dress as my name is Faye and it felt personal. I love the design and the straps are fun accents. As badly as I wanted to love this dress I can’t say I do it with full confidence. The gorgeous pattern and attention to detail almost makes up for, in my opinion, a huge flaw in the dress which puffs out in the front in an odd fashion and makes the whole thing blobby and shapeless. Add to that the waist was no where near my actual waist. The fabric was thin, on the one hand breathable, on the other felt cheap for Shoshanna. I was hoping for a straight fall or something more flattering. Would be great for maternity wear in the summer. Paired with a straw hat and some chunky sandals, I looked like I tried.

Office Cinderella
If you’re looking for a forgiving spring dress for the office that you comfortably can go out to lunch with coworkers in, this is a perfect dress. While not my favorite poly blend it has an elegant fall without being too baggy or clingy. The neckline is a nice point of interest. I love Shoshanna’s attention to detail overall. I paired it with the derek lam light blue houndstooth blazer and So Kate nudes.

Not the worst not the best
The XS was quite large on me and while passable it was not the fit i had hoped for. I have a long torso and the waist sat in a funny spot, overall creating a bulkier silhouette than I anticipated. Very well constructed, adored the material and concept. The pleats are great.
