I need this in my closet!
I might be holding on to this one for a while. I’m waiting for the matching shorts to become available! I thought the back tie would be problematic when sitting but it wasn’t uncomfortable. The 4 fit true to size but I could imagine it working for someone that’s a size 6 or even 8 as you can adjust the fit depending on how tight you tie it. My only issue is the buttons on the neck. There are three of them and they are so small! Don’t be in a rush when putting this piece on! Definitely won’t stop me from wearing this through the summer! So many compliments.

Although the small was a bit too short for me I love this piece. The linen fabric is gorgeous and the print is so sophisticated yet adorable. It’s giving Portugal summer vibes (although I wore it in Turks and Caicos but failed to get photos). Rent it but maybe size up.

Great twist on a camisole
This shirt is so fun! It fits incredibly well with the help of adjustable straps, and a hidden back zipper. Relatively supportive, I just wore silicone petals for a boost of coverage. Perfectly paired with skirts or denim.

I'll probably end up buying this jacket. Perfect in every way, but best worn in weather over 50. The pockets are functionally deep. The gold hardware elevates the old chore jacket style. Can be worn with everything! True to size.

Soft, statement fleece
I really enjoyed lounging around in this signature crewneck. The bold logo on the back transformed my otherwise basic, casual outfits. The small fits quite oversized without feeling bulky. The fabric is so soft. Beware layering over a white shirt or nude bra as it will shed blue cotton all over.

Tough to style
The fit on these jeans is great, I love the relaxed yet tailored aesthetic. I’m 5’7” and the length was perfect for everyday as well as a small heel. While I appreciate the glittery look of the denim I found it really hard to style. I tried them with several tops but only felt white and grey worked well. They are very shiny in natural light and come off more dressy than I would’ve like for everyday and bc they were a bit baggy they were too casual for the event I intended them for. Fun one time rental.

Waist snatch supreme
No animals were harmed in the making of this dreamy jacket yet the pu leather and faux fur were so soft. I rented an xs bc that’s all that was available. I couldn’t wear a thick sweater underneath so that meant I unfortunately couldn’t wear it out in the Ny tundra. I’d love to try a small or even a medium so I could dress up a pair of jeans and a chunky turtleneck. The belt is chic and the tailoring at the waist is nice so you can get an hourglass shape without a ton of extra fabric bunching up anywhere. I really enjoyed this piece but will plan to rent again in the spring or fall.

Heavenly knit
This sweater is 70% wool/30% synthetic material and feels like a cozy blanket. No itch!! Call me basic, but my skin just can’t tolerate 100% wool. I’ve been wearing it around the house with black leggings and also layered it under a Barbour jacket paired with black barrel jeans. It’s slightly cropped yet oversized and would also look great with low slung, baggy jeans. It’s a BUY for me!

The MOTHER of all denim!
I believe the hype now! So happy that Mother denim made it to RTR. The bootcut shape of these jeans don’t fit current trends but boy did I get a lot of compliments wearing them. The stretch on these jeans not only provide support but also highlight your curves. I’m 5’7” and the length was perfect for everyday with sneakers. They may feel too long if you’re more petite. I plan to buy these as I can’t take them off!

Gosh I wanted to love this piece but the itchy fabric made my skin crawl. I tried folding the turtleneck in as well as down twice to reduce the contact with my neck and jawline. Nothing helped. It’s so beautiful and looks great with jeans, trousers, photographs well, etc but it just didn’t work for me.

Holiday party or vacation!
I thought this top was so matronly when I pulled it out of the bag. I wrote it off until the day I was shipping back my returns. Big mistake! It is a piece of art and so incredibly flattering! The crochet detail highlights the artisanal beauty of this unique top. You can easily dress it up or down. I probably could have sized down for a more form fitting look but really liked the 6 with these Mother jeans and some loose trousers I tried it with. Will definitely rent again in the summer to wear with shorts.

Fun and festive
I’ve never owned a red sweater but perhaps I should bc I love this sweater. I found myself wearing it nearly every day over the course of several weeks. The fabric is heavenly and not so heavy that you want to take it off indoors. For a medium it fits on the tighter side. If you’re looking for an oversized fit I’d suggest sizing up. Perfect for casual wear but could also be paired with trousers or a skirt for an elevated look. I might buy it.

A sweater I could live in!
Staud just knows how to do knit wear. The fit, the fabric, the colors. So good. For a small this sweater fit loose and comfortably. It has zero itch factor. So many compliments.

Great for layering!
This coat is not meant for subzero temperatures but does well over a thick sweater in 40-50 degree cold. It has a slightly oversized fit in the bodice and arms but is pretty shapeless. The buckles and vegan leather trim give it appeal. While I do like the buckle detail, they seem a bit flimsy so I kept the coat open. The pockets are helpful although they were still sewn shut when the coat arrived with my monthly drop. I’m not incredibly impressed with the jacket’s tailoring but I truly appreciate a longline coat that I could layer over cable knit sweaters.

Postpartum dream jumper
I wore this jumper nearly everyday when I was 2 weeks postpartum. Then I threw on a blazer and wore it to a birthday party and everyone complimented me on my bounce back! The linen fabric was medium weight, not sheer, and loose enough to hide my swollen areas. I’d say it has a slightly oversized fit, and is similar to a size 8. Great closet staple!

Delicate and romantic
This dress was perfect for a garden baby shower. I was 2 months postpartum and the empire waist and loose draping fabric was perfect. The dress has a substantially deep v-neck so I wore a bralette for support and coverage. Im 5’7” and wore a 2.5” heel, the slight high-low hemline did not touch the floor.

Thick, high quality fabric with pockets!
I wore this dress 2 months postpartum when I was exhausted, swollen everywhere, and not feeling so fabulous. Trust me when I say fashion can instantly boost your mood, and that’s what this dress did for me! The smocked bodice provided support and the full skirt hid the areas I was self conscious about. Im usually a 4/6 in dresses but was an 8 while pregnant. I went for the 6 and liked how fitted the top was. I think the 8 would’ve been too loose for my liking. Having pockets is always helpful and they are deep enough to hold a smart phone and keys. I kept this dress for awhile and will probably buy it. It’s got such a timeless shape and made with such care.

Little black dress with pizzazz!
This was the perfect outfit for a friend’s birthday party in New Orleans on Mardi Gras weekend. The back is smocked so it’s perfectly fitted and the skirt is so full and fun! I’ll admit that it is on the short side but I wore tights with boy shorts over them to prevent a peep show! You could probably size up if you want a longer skirt, without sacrificing the bodycon bodice fit. I might buy when the next sale pops up!

The any occasion romper
I’ve rented this piece a few times! It is so versatile and looks great with tennis shoes, knee high boots, heeled booties, mesh flats, and even heels. I have a pretty straight torso but the drawstring waist and gathered fabric created an illusion of the perfect hourglass shape! Total compliment magnet! The 4 is slightly oversized but not baggy but the shorts were a bit revealing. Sizing up may provide more length in the shorts but the upper section might look bulky. Truly love this rental and you will too!

My new favorite jeans!
Absolutely loved wearing these and couldn’t take them off! I’m a 4/6 and rented the 27. They were slightly baggy and rode lower on my waist. They were cuffed at just the right place on my 5’7” frame and didn’t drag on the ground. They don’t enhance your shape much but the barrel leg is on trend. These are easy to dress up or down. I’ll probably buy them after I try the next size down to compare the fit.

Cute cool-weather crop
Not a frumpy cardigan! This sweater is perfectly cropped whilst still being classy and demure with high waist jeans. The material is neither too thick nor too thin, ie. it’s great as a standalone piece with just a bra underneath in cool weather. I rented a medium for a slightly oversized look. I like that the arms were tapered at the cuff and that I could still wear a slender jacket without looking bulky.

Another win for Staud! I wore this set for my husband’s 40th bday pool party in the west coast. I was a few months pregnant and wanted to hide a little bump so wore it high waisted. I felt so fashionable and cool that I didn’t want to change into my bathing suit! I could see wearing this number with white boots and a knee length coat in the cooler months.

I’ve tried to avoid wearing/buying true maternity clothing for as long as possible as it doesn’t really fit my style. Sexiest baby shower dress!
I wanted to step up the baby shower dress game while being warm and comfortable. This stunning dress fit the ticket! I received an extraordinary number of compliments from both friends and strangers. I’m 33 weeks pregnant, and currently weigh 160 lbs (30 lbs more than my pre-pregnancy size 4 frame). The medium stretched well whilst holding everything in place. The only issue I had was where the upper arms connected to the bodice of the dress. It was a bit tight. I’d definitely rent this dress again when postpartum. So flattering!

Breathable linen and dreamy delicate florals
This dress is so perfect for spring. The tailoring on the bodice is exceptional and worked with my body despite broad shoulders. The neck fit me but is on the tighter side. Garden formal dream dress
I loved this dress for the outdoor Ojai wedding I wore it to. The length was perfect with 3.5” heels (I’m 5’7”) and it fit my 27” waist perfectly. The fabric kind of reminds me of curtains from the 70s but the cutout and slit keeps it modern and chic.

Eye catching but risky
This dress is made from the most beautiful rose gold metallic knit fabric. It catches the eye and enhances all curves. The arm strap on the left side is tight and slightly uncomfortable as the metal threads are a bit scratchy. Overall I loved the fit, bc of the biased draping it has a bit of stretch and you can cinch the waist with the adjustable right side strap. The issue with this dress is the lack of lining. The top is double lined and I comfortably wore silicone petals but the skirt area is completely see through with back light. The back is low and open so I wore a Spanx mini skirt but it was too bulky and you can see multiple folds across my torso and waist. If I owned this dress I’d have a liner sewn in but alas I do not so I’d say be prepared to show it all or find an appropriate backless, short undergarment.

The perfect blazer w/ a bit of flare!
Another favorite rental. I brought this blazer to the Amalfi coast and wore it just about every day. I wore it with tailored button ups, tie waist blouses, thick sweaters, and t shirts. Warm enough for 50/60 degree days when layered. Id like to own it in camel and black (RTR can we get the black on here?!).

I need these pants in my life! Waiting for price to drop! Top quality. Originally wanted to rent a 4 and wear at my natural waist but went with another review that encouraged a looser fit. The length was perfect for me without heels - I’m 5’7”. These are not form fitting due to the pleating but so perfect for walking around. If you are into sweats, get these as they will up-level any casual look.

Perfect holiday dress
I ordered this for a Xmas party but ended up wearing it out to dinner for NYE. Despite other reviews I did not find it hard to put on - I stepped into the skirt, hiked it up my torso a bit, and slipped the top over my head. Just do it before makeup! The material was not itchy to me. Don’t think it would work for full chests over C cup. I had to wear silicone stickies bc any bra with a bit of padding flattened me like a pancake.
