Beautiful sunset wedding in the keys
This dress was perfect for the a gorgeous sunset wedding on the beach in the keys. The dress code was "wedding casual". It fit really well and I can imagine this being flattering on a number of body types. The dress is well-lined and heavy enough to fall nicely around your curves without hugging your body and the extra lining does not make it too hot. I was able to wear this dress without a bra (and I am not a person that ever goes without one), but the lining and structure provided a good amount of support. I wore 3-inch wedges and the length was pefect, hitting just above the bottom of the shoe and showing off my toes as I walked. I also rented the XS as a back-up size and didn't notice a difference in length. I went with the small for comfort in the top part of the dress. Highly recommend!

I did not wear this to my work event, an awards banquet for my department.
I did not end up wearing this dress. It fits very straight up and down - very tight around the hips/thighs and loose around the waist. Not flattering on me personally. Returned.

I wore this to an office holiday party. It was my first time going so I wanted to dress up a bit.
The dress fit very well and was very comfortable. I was expecting to have to wear my usual size 6 but was surprised when the 4 fit better. It was a bit warm, but from other reviews I expected that to happen, and this was one of the only dresses still available for the dates I needed it so I didn't have too many options. It is definitely more formal looking than I expected. On the model it looks kind of flowy and playful almost, but in person is more structured and conservative. I wore it with black ankle boots to bring it down a bit and add some edge; with pumps it has the potential to look a bit stuffy if you're not careful. I think the dress looks much better in person than it does in photos - it was very flattering on my waist in person but in photos the bottom of the dress does add weight to my hips. I received lots of compliments all night and had to stop at the store on my way home where a lady told me I "looked like a blue angel walking towards [her] down the aisle." LOL Overall, I was happy with the dress, but I wouldn't rent it again. However, that's probably only because it was a little off my usual personal style.
