Perfect for a Les Mis show even though everyone else showed up in jeans and tees
Now I'm pretty sure Likely NYC is an American company, but sizing, as you can tell from other reviewers, follows UK sizing, where I tend to go up 2-3 sizes. For example, I'm generally a 2 in the US, but for UK clothing, I wear a 6 or 8. US sizing loves vanity. *shrug emoji* I rented a 4 and 6, but ended up wearing the 6.

Perfect birthday dress
I didn't end up snapping a photo, because I was too preoccupied with dinner, but the dress fit like a glove. I wore the S, but ordered a M as my backup size since some reviewers said it was a tad snug, but my S fit like a S. Olive is my new "color," as I wear a lot of neutrals, and I got plenty of compliments. I especially liked the open back. I went braless since I can, but I imagine this might not work so well for those slightly more well endowed.

I'm almost always a 2, and while the 2 fit, it was a tad snug to zip up. You may want to size up for your backup size.

Jewel-Tone Perfection in the French Quarter
I was absolutely obsessed with this dress. It's not my usual go-to shape or color, but I'm glad I branched out. I received so many compliments at a close friend's wedding in New Orleans. The length was long enough for black-tie optional, but also short enough to dance in. For all you Harry Potter fans, the colors are perfect for any (book) Ravenclaw!

Classic dress for a winter wedding
My mom rented both the 2R and 4R. While the 4R fit, the 2R gave a more snug, sleek feel. The red in the dress is rich in color, which is perfect for a winter wedding.

Great birthday jumpsuit!
Runs small. I'm usually a true 2R, but rented a 4R as backup due to all the reviews. To be fair, the 2R zips, but it would have been a hassle getting in and out of the outfit all night. I never understood how so many people wore jumpsuits/rompers out. What happens when you have to pee? Such a hassle. In any case, this was my first jumpsuit ever. I know. I'll have to rent more since it went so well.

Great party dress!
This would be a great NYE dress. I wore it to a friend's birthday party. It's black, so it's not too much, but it's also sparkly. Fits a tad snug. The neckline is a lot lower than it seems on the model. I went braless, because it was easier in this case. Not a problem for me, but if you have a full bust, it could turn into a problem.

Gorgeous dress for any formal event!
The dress fit true to size and was super flowy and fun to dance in. I paired it with hot pink heels and lips. There was a slit down the middle that I wasn't expecting, but it made the dress easier to walk in. Got lots of compliments and the dress was a hit!

The feathers made me feel extra glamorous.
Ordered a 2 since that's my usual size, but ended up wearing the 4. The best part about this dress were the feathers. The little bow in the back kept snapping off every time I moved, but otherwise I would definitely recommend this as an occasion dress. #birthday

My sister got so many compliments when she wore this to senior prom.
Reviewing for my sister. Overall, she loved the dress, especially the sheer outer layer. It was true to size (she's a 0). She didn't have to wear a bra with it. It's good for smaller chested girls, as it's not baggy in the chest area. She's 5'5" and only wore 2 1/2" heels and the dress barely skimmed the floor. We would rent the brand again.

This was my free birthday dress that I wore for Mother's Day. It was perfect for both occasions.
This fits true to size, but if you have broad shoulders (as I do) the sleeve area may be snug. The overlay was an actual overlay, and the separation between layers makes a huge difference in person. I have nothing bad to say about this dress, and I would rent from the brand again.

The dress is an incredible lavender, which makes it perfect for the spring wedding I attended.
Fit: true to size Even though the 0R fit (snugly), I chose to wear the 2R because it was easier to breathe in. Problems encountered with the larger size include the front and back areas needing fashion tape to stay on my skin, but those weren't big issues. Pros: color The dress is a beautiful pastel, which is perfect for spring and summer. I attended an evening wedding where I got multiple compliments on my selection. Cons: back, bust area, length I encountered problems with the back and bust areas. They did not fit me right to the skin, problems easily fixed by fashion tape. You can buy a pack of multiples on Amazon. I'm only 5'4", but I've rented long gowns from Rent the Runway before that did not skim the floor. I wore 5" heels with this dress and the outer layer still had to be picked up before I started walking.

I wore this on-trend oxblood dress to my high school friend's wedding. Everyone loved it!
Dress is true to size. I'm 5'4" which is usually too short for long dresses (this was my first one since high school homecoming) but it was perfect with 4" heels. I paired the dress with a pair of zipper Michael Kors sandals and an oversized ASOS clutch with gold hardware.
