It fit well, but the material has no stretch. The lace on the shoulders seems to be fraying on the edges, probably from being worn so often as a rental. I ended up wearing another dress instead for my event.

What a beautiful dress. I felt so gorgeous in it. The shoulder straps, bare back, and body hugging design are what make it different. I'm in my 40s and it was still age appropriate and classy enough to wear to a corporate event, but it was still very sexy. Herve Leger bandage dresses are incredibly flattering -- they are made of thick material that suck in everything and push everything up, forgiving a multitude of bodily imperfections and making you look incredible. I so wish I could own this dress. I am a size 4-6ish dress, but was able to squeeze myself into the SR (small regular length). Note that the chest was a bit stretched out, probably from so many rentals. If it was new, I might have had to go with the MR. It does run quite long. I'm 5'3.5" and wore 5" heals and the size SR (not long) it still dragged on the ground. Since it was an outdoor venue,I had to hem it with fashion tape.

it was perfect for my son's adoption court hearing and the fancy luncheon we had after.

Surprisingly, the size 6 fit me great. Usually my hips push me into an 8, but this dress has more room in the hips than in the bust. If I had a larger bust, I would have had to wear the 8. Very flattering dress. The back has a great detail.
