Do not rent this dress if you are tall! I'm 5'10" & I never would have walked out of my bedroom, let alone my house, in this dress because it's so short. I'm long-waisted with long legs and my butt was literally hanging out of the bottom of the dress when I was standing. I'm not the most conservative person when it comes to dresses by any means, but I'd never recommend this for someone tall. It'd be a beautiful dress if you're short.

This dress is comfortable & form-fitting. I got a lot of compliments on it. It is very low-cut, but because it is quite a bit longer than other Herve Leger dresses, it still looked classy. I wore it to my bridal shower (it was a happy hour shower with my friends) & it worked out great. I would order a size up just because of the low-cut. I usually wear a small in Herve Leger, and the small in this dress did fit, but it showed the side of my bra because it was being pulled to the side. I wore the medium and was happy with the way that looked & felt.

I really liked this dress. I got tons of compliments on it & it's easy to move in. For me, it ran large... I do not have a large chest (B cup) & I had A LOT of room up top. I ended up wearing a Victoria's Secret bombshell bra & getting a bra strap converter (it attaches to the back & wraps around your waist to bring the back of the bra down a few inches) because I think a strapless bra would have fallen right off of me. That worked out great though, as the bra wasn't visible. The only uncomfortable part of the dress is that it sometimes touched my neck since it is heavy with the ruffles in the back, so I had to pull it forward sometimes. The back of the dress is a real show-stopper though! I'm 5'10" & I got a 4 instead of the 4L I ordered (which RTR's customer service was so great about), but if you are around 5'10" & plan on wearing heels, go for the long. I had to wear nearly no heel with the regular. If you're wearing flats & are that tall, the regular is just fine. Overall, I was really happy with the dress & would recommend it.

I really liked this dress & I got a lot of compliments on it. It was my back-up dress but I ended up wearing it. My only issue with it was the zipper. It took THREE people to zip it up (and not because it didn't fit or was too tight). There's a flaw with the zipper where it buckles out (at least there was with the 4L, don't know if it's with every dress). It was great once it was on, but you may want to have some extra hands on deck. My fiance zipped, my best friend held it in the middle, and my other friend held it together at the top since there is no clasp there. It's easy to move in and doesn't get too warm.

I wore this for my bridal shower and it was perfect! I would say it runs true to size, but if you do order a back-up size, order the smaller one. I'm 5'10" and the length was great for a family shower... I wore 4-inch heels and it still looked appropriate. As others have said, the straps may be a little long if you aren't long-waisted. I don't have a large chest & I'm very long-waisted, so I wore a Victoria's Secret Bombshell bra. That took care of the long-strap issue and the bra & its straps weren't visible even though it goes down low in the back. Everyone at the shower (and social media) commented on how much they loved this dress and asked where I got it. I highly recommend it. Plus - it's actually really comfortable & the material isn't see-through at all.

This dress was great - comfortable, appropriate, and easy to dress up or down. I wore it to a funeral for a friend. I asked my fiance whether he liked this one or my back-up dress & he said definitely this one. I'm 5'10" so length is a major concern for me, especially in a Church setting, and this worked out perfectly. It was comfortable and easy to move in, as I was helping out during the service. It was about 95 degrees outside when I wore this, so while the material is thick & of great quality, it was not too hot to wear comfortably. I highly recommend this dress for any function. It ran true to size.

I wore this dress for my Godson's baptism & it was great. I'm 5'10" and it was in a Catholic Church, so I needed to make sure the dress was long enough. I got compliments on it from everyone. My bridal shower was the week after & I wish I could wear it to both! It was about 95 degrees on the day I wore it - the material is thick but didn't make it too hot to wear. I was very comfortable. I have broad shoulders (I was a swimmer) & was worried about the size, but I was able to comfortably wear the 4 as usual. I ordered the 6 as a back-up but definitely didn't need to size up. It does have a little stretch to it. In the picture on the site, I couldn't tell if the flowers were more blue or more purple - they are definitely blue. I highly recommend this dress!
