This dress was beautiful, and great to wear! I have a full bust so was expecting to end up wearing the 8R but I am glad I ordered the 6R as a backup because the bust was surprisingly loose. The hem at the bottom is delicate so look out for that, and you definitely will need an assistant to button the back buttons, but it's absolutely worth it- I wore this to a black tie gala and was bombarded by compliments the whole time- really made the steep rental price worth it.

I rented this as a backup size for a black-tie event, and conservatively chose the larger of the 2 sizes I usually rent. To my surprise this dress fit extremely loose on my very full bust, which was either a design choice or a result of previous wear. Either way, my first choice (Catherine Deane Godiva Gown) fit like a dream so I didn't end up wearing this one, but next time I will rent in at least 1 size down. That being said, the color was luscious and the detailing was really beautiful :)

The dress is a great combo of elegant and sexy- I would definitely rent again!

Ordered this as a backup for the Vera Wang Want and Wonder Gown, which worked better. That being said, this gown was lovely, a rich purple color with a great neckline and ruching that was appropriate. I would absolutely rent this dress again, knowing it fit well!

The sequin fabric looks very luxe in the pictures, but cheap in person. The ruching on the side also cheapens the silhouette. That being said, both the 6R and 8R hems dusted my ankles, much too short to wear as a long dress, but thankfully this was the back up dress to the David Meister Metallic Twisted Gown, which worked out really well.

Loved this dress- the color works on everyone, the cut is flattering (manages the curves), it's a comfortable and low-maintenance fabric to handle for a night of dancing. I wore a regular bra, which is obviously a plus too. To note, I am 5'4'' and originally ordered the regular length... almost 4 inches too short, so thankfully the goddesses at RTR were able to overnight the long length, which I ended up wearing. Would recommend to anyone!

Incredible earrings that I wore with the Bardot Bow dress- good mix of major fun and class, and got lots of compliments at the party!

This was my first choice for a black-tie gala in June, and when I pulled it out of the garment bag I was excited because the colorblocking was amazing. On though, 2 issues ultimately made me decide to wear my back up option (Theory's Runway Purple Bandit Gown- love it)1) the pleating on the bust was a construction detail designed for smaller busts than mine, even in the larger size... it just wasn't flattering. 2) waistline also wasn't flattering, really brought attention to a body part I would like to distract from! Overall the silhouette wasn't meant for me, I got a little over-zealous looking at Chantelle model it!

Out of the garment bag this dress (my backup for a black-tie gala) looked see-through and I was concerned. It just needed a good steam and when I put it on I knew this was the dress I would wear. The elastic straps and waistband made it so comfortable, and the neckline was really flattering! I got so many compliments about the color (its a vivid royal purple) and the back was a hit with everyone too. Would recommend to anyone!
