I tried this on in a bigger size at the RTR showroom and even though the stylist clipped the back, I must not have been able to get a good idea for how it would truly fit because when it arrived, it was way too low cut and revealing for a formal wedding and the slit was really high. The dress was in good condition and felt comfortable but it just wasn't right for this occasion so I went with the backup.

I tried this gown on at the RTR showroom in a larger size when I was looking for something for a wedding and the stylist advised me to get an 8 but when it arrived it was too big. I couldn't wear it and ended up ordering it again for a fall gala in the correct size 6 and it was perfect. It looks and feels expensive plus the color is just as deep and beautiful in person. Of all the Badgley Mischka dresses I have worn, this one has the fullest skirt that kind of swirls around you when you walk, which was really fun. It was a little long but with big heels I was fine. I would absolutely rent this again and really enjoyed wearing it.

The fit was perfect and although I had reservations about wearing a strapless dress, the piping in the bodice really kept me feeling secure all night long. The cinched waist was very flattering and the flowy skirt was a lot of fun to wear. This was a perfect gown for my boyfriend's business school gala and I got a ton of compliments. The main issue I had was that the zipper was a little busted and I almost wasn't able to wear it bc it just wouldn't go up, even with my boyfriend trying for about 30 min. I ended up having to put it on backwards, zip it up that way and turn it around, which was not ideal. I suggest RTR does a few additional quality checks and makes sure the dresses zip up properly.

Had a mishap with shipping and my size ended up not being available when I tried to rent this the first time. I ended up not being able to wear anything RTR sent me for that event but was able to purchase this dress at the sample sale for my friend's party. I liked everything about it except that the material shows sweat pretty easily and we were dancing up a storm that night! Overall, great, simple dress for a fun night out.
