Perfect match for Chile and American flags for the 60th Anniversary Gala of the Tempel Lippizans.

I LOVED this dress. I'm very color coordinated conscious. Wanted a formal yet casual classic chic dress for the 60th Anniversary Gala of the Tempel Lippizans. Riders from Chile's Classical Riding School flew in. I wanted to represent both American and Chile flags with a navy blue, plus the Tempel rider's uniforms are a dark royal blue. Unfortunately it was 63° and raining for part, so I was quite cold. Loved the pockets. Very well constructed of heavy material. Great lining. I am a 32 A/AA with a 24" waist and very small ribcage. Wore the 2 as the 0 wasn't available. Still very roomy in the bust and under the arms and upper ribcage. (Was going to have my mom do a slipsitch to tuck the excess fabric but wound up not.) I wore a super padded VS Add 2 Cups Bombshell bra just to barely fill it out. Not a dress for A or B cup women!!! Don't know why people say you can't wear a bra as a strapless is easily hidden. Could even wear a T-back bra. Would definitely buy. Want to ask RTR if they'd sell it to me as I can't find it online anywhere to purchase.

Perfect, stretchy, lightweight dress that was work appropriate as a photographer at a major race day

Whether a spectator or photographer with media credentials, I always try to wear the colors of the racetrack that I am visiting. This time, I went to the oldest track in America, Saratoga, whose colors are white and red. I couldn't find a cheap enough dress with just those two colors, a plain red dress was too fancy, and you never wear white around horses. My first go around with Slate & Willow was a disaster...the dress looked like a bargain reject. When this dress arrived, it was absolutely perfect. Wore the size 0. Dress has stretch, is lined, and gave me enough coverage if I knelt down to photograph from a lower angle. It was about 95 degree out, and though I was soaked, this dress was almost wicking! I was disappointed because the colors online looked red and yellow to me, but in reality are pink and citron green. I got many compliments from two different lady security guards, who loved it, and two gentlemen: one elderly security guard and another worker. Also, a fellow photographer for America's Best Racing said that I won outfit of the day. She absolutely loved it. Incidentally, I found another girl in the betting area with the same dress. Fit: With a size 0, could accommodate up to a 34C. I am a 31/32 A/AA, but it didn't gap too badly or reveal anything. Would wear with a heavily padded VS Add 2 Cups Bombshell bra next time. My body is a bit of an anomaly. I weigh 118, am 5'7", and am 32A-24-32 with a 36.5-37 J.Lo bum (26 years old). Waist could've been a tad tighter. Again, the stretchy fit allowed me to move around freely and the dress seemed to almost wick my sweat on a 95 degree day. Would definitely order this dress again or better yet, would purchase this dress. Super flattering.

Wore it as press photographer to the U.S. Open Polo Semifinals at the Palm Beach Polo Club.

After reading many reviews of women who were similar to my height and body type, it seemed that the Lilly dresses ran small and having just rented a Lilly dress a few weeks prior, so as a person who usually wears a 0-2 in dresses, I went with the size 2. Overall, the dress was light and comfortable like the previous Lily dress I rented. As a 32 A/AA, I don't know how a fuller busted (C and over) could wear a Lily dress in the same size...same goes for the other Lilly dress. Again, waist could've been more fitted, but I have a very small waist (24") so that's my fit problem. I was press/media photographer for high goal polo at the International Polo Club in Palm Beach, and Lilly Pulitzer is one of their main sponsors, so I wanted to rent a LP dress for the occasion. Since the print was so bright and the neckline was decorated with the gold embellishment, I didn't wear any jewelry. For makeup, I did a triple cat eye in turquoise, green, and pink with the Urban Decay Electric Palette, which completed my look. LP dresses are great. Very comfortable to move around in and sit in. Would rent LP as a designer for another polo match, or if I was going on a cruise. Side note: This dress is no longer available for rental. Was sold during a clearance buy-to-own but I didn't see it listed or I would've bought it.

Wore it to International Polo Club event that has Lilly Pulitzer as a main sponsor. Loved it!!!

After reading many reviews of women who were similar to my height and body type, it seemed that the Lilly dresses ran small, so as a person who usually wears a 0-2 in dresses, I went with a four. Definitely should've gone with the size 2. The waist was very loose...or maybe it's because I have a 24" waist and am small chested (32 A/AA). Overall, the dress was light and comfortable. I was press/media photographer for high goal polo at the International Polo Club in Palm Beach, and Lilly Pulitzer is one of their main sponsors, so I wanted to rent a LP dress for the occasion. Paired it with necklaces from Charming Charlie and did a double cat eye in green and pink with the Urban Decay Electric Palette, which completed my look. Will rent another LP dress when I go back to shoot the semifinals in a few days. You can't rent this dress anymore. It was sold in a clearance buy-to-own sale last year or at the end of 2016. Side note: This was on sale for purchase last year in the clearance event of buy-to-own. Had it in my cart but waited a day and my size was sold. Very sad.

Stunning! Wore for the Breeder's Cup 2014 Championship day. Felt like I was the best dressed.

In keeping with the purple and yellow-gold colors of the flowers of the blankets of the winning racehorses at the Breeder's Cup Championships, I fell in love with this dress. I wore it on the Saturday's big race card day. With my yellow fascinator and the chic oversized shoulder bow that reminded me of a red dress that Nicole Kidman wore to the Oscars years ago, I felt like I should've been in the running for the Longines Prize of Elegance. I entered but didn't win. I ordered a 4 and 2 as a back up. I wound up going with the 2 as it was more form-fitting through the chest. Although the 4 fit slightly better in the butt. I am a 32A/AA-24-32 with a J.Lo booty (36-37" around widest part of butt/thighs); was 116 lbs and 14% body fat so extremely lean muscle. Wore my VS "Bombshell Add 2-Cups" convertible bra. (I also wore that same bra with the Herve Leger strapless dress I rented.) Was able to wear a thong and there was no VPL. Zipped up easily and fit beautifully. Was bit short when bending down to sit. The ruching on the left side was subtle and added definition to the waist. The bodice cut was great for showing off toned arms. Wish I could've kept the dress. Side note: Dress is no longer available for rental. I don't remember seeing it listed in the clearance buy-to-own sales or I would've bought it hands down. Need to scour the Internet for this dress to buy.

Was triple back up dress as original was ruined and RTR didn't let me know until night before.

My original dress was the HL "Purple Pizazz" dress that someone who rented it before me ruined it. Was going to wear that dress for Friday's races at the Breeder's Cup 2014 at Santa Anita Racetrack in CA. Ordered a fascinator to match dress perfectly. After frantically calling and emailing in the airport terminal, taxiing down the runway, and in the air, many solid purple dresses I liked either weren't available or not in my size. Wound up choosing the pink and purple "Line Them Up" strapless dress. Stylist added a gorgeous necklace, as well. The stylist also gave me this dress as a backup to the strapless dress. Both were overnighted from NY to my CA hotel, but the stylist wasn't sure if the strapless one would be cleaned and ready in time. Additionally, RTR sent out another identical style dress but in purple and colbalt blue "Whiplash of Color" just in case. All three (XS) Herve's wound up arriving at the hotel, but the "Line Them Up" one arrived literally at the last minute...I was zipped in the pink sheath dress. It was gorgeous and fit beautifully. Wore a VS "Bombshell Add 2-Cups" bra and a thong with. Not as tight as other two strapless dresses, though all three were XS. I changed in to the "Line Them Up" dress and wore the beautiful necklace that the stylist sent with as it was in keeping with my purple color scheme. Plus, this dress looked similar to an OTR Calvin Klein (2) sheath dress I brought with in case something happened to one of the dresses. For the whole ordeal, RTR overnighted those three dresses and didn't charge me for any of those. They also didn't charge me for the other dress I ordered that I carried on the plane with me. Horrible, sickening, and stressful circumstance, but RTR customer service made it right in the end!

RTR gave me this as triple back up since original dress was ruined. Identical to "Line Them Up" HL.

My original "Purple Pizazz" Herve Leger dress got ruined by the person who rented it before me. RTR notified me of this the night before I was to fly out to CA. I was originally going to wear the "Purple Pizazz" dress for Friday's races at the Breeder's Cup 2014 at Santa Anita Racetrack in CA. Ordered a fascinator to match dress perfectly. Wound up choosing the pink and purple "Line Them Up" strapless dress. Stylist added a gorgeous necklace, as well. The stylist also gave me a solid pink Herve sheath as a backup to the strapless dress. Both were overnighted from NY to my CA hotel, but the stylist wasn't sure if the strapless one would be cleaned and ready in time. Additionally, RTR sent out another identical style dress but in purple and colbalt blue "Whiplash of Color" just in case. All three Herve's wound up arriving at the hotel, but the "Line Them Up" one arrived literally at the last minute...I was zipped in the pink sheath dress. This dress fits identically to the pink and purple "Line Them Up" dress. SEE "LINE THEM UP" DRESS REVIEW FOR FIT DETAILS...IDENTICAL FIT. For Breeder's Cup 2014 Friday races. Got picture taken by A.P. and featured in USA Today online!

My original dress that got ruined was a strappy purple Herve. I chose purple and yellow dresses as those are the colors of the flowers of the blankets of the winning racehorses. While this dress had pink in it, it was still a wonderful dress for Friday's more casual race day. It must have been enough of an attention getter as an Associated Press photographer captured a candid photo of me and it appeared in a Breeder's Cup online article by USA Today. Loved the necklace that the stylist had provided to go with. It picked up the colors of the dress and fascinator without being overbearing...great choice for a strapless dress. I wore a VS Bombshell "Add-Two Cups" bra as I have no boobs. With the bra's generous padding, I was able to just fill out the top of the bodice. Herve's run small and you best have no flab, because Spanx wouldn't help. I couldn't even wear a thong. The dress was an XS and let me tell you, I had to get my dad to wrangle the zipper up, which was extremely difficult. It was so tight at first, I could barely breathe on the car ride over to the racetrack. Upon arrival, the dress formed to by body and fit like a glove/wetsuit/second skin. For a banana shaped white-girl (32A-24-32) at 117 lbs and only 14% body fat, I have a J.Lo booty (36-37" around), so I got some double takes and a few whistles. This dress is not for self-conscious people. I worship Herve Leger dresses and would never hesitate to rent one! Side note: This dress is sadly no longer available for rental. Don't remember seeing it during any of the clearance buy-to-own sale. However, I don't think I would've bought this dress compared to others I rented that are now discontinued and were for clearance sale.
