Just right
Wore it to a fundraising gala. It was just right for the occasion. I liked the lace-like details and the way the dress flared a bit. Simple, yet elegant. The fabric is a little thicker than expected, so I wouldn’t wear it on a hot sunny day.

Awkward. Didn't wear.
I liked the concept of the design, but it had too much fabric flopping around that made it really awkward. It ran small and so it wasn't comfortable for me. The color was great, though. I didn't wear it. Good thing I had a backup plan.

Cute, but with one major design flaw
This is a super cute and fun romper. I had planned to wear it for a NYE party. However, after getting ready, I realized it had one major design flaw.... Let’s see: - It’s a one piece. - The zipper is all the way up the back and pretty difficult to pull up and down. - There weren’t any relief zippers or side panels for easy access (that I found). What does this mean? Either I quickly become a contortionist or I need someone to help me get in and out of it whenever I use the restroom. I suppose there are other medical alternatives, but let’s not go there. Anyway, this romper might work for a short outing where you might not drink anything. But for long events, I wouldn’t recommend it unless you have an exit strategy. Curious to know how others managed it.

Fancy version of the little black dress
Great dress. I wore it to a professional awards dinner. It was fun, elegant and professional. The lace collar added a nice detail. It was also really comfortable. A colleague said it's the little black dress that everyone should have.

Too tight around chest. Didn't wear it.
Both sizes were too tight around my chest. I'm not a large-chested person (32A), and yet it was super tight. I may have been okay in the small, but then it looked too baggy around the waist. I ended up not wearing it and asked RTR to overnight me a different dress.

Formal, yet fun.
The lace top and fitted bodice gave the dress an elegant and formal look, while the layered ruffles and gold beads gave the dress a fun feel. No trouble moving, climbing narrow stage stairs or sitting. Bonus: the ruffles will hide any belly pooches you may have. Unlike some people who commented previously, I didn't have any problems with the strap from the slip showing. The slip is completely separate and the straps are adjustable. A black strapless bra worked for me. It showed a little from the back, but it's hardly noticeable in a dark ballroom. You can't see it in this photo, but it is a little longer than I like. It fell slightly below my knees, though I am only 5'0". I would definitely rent this again.

Elegant dress for a formal affair.
I wore this to a fashion awards show and received a lot of compliments. It was very flattering on the tummy, especially in photos. Because of all the fun details, very little jewelry is needed. One thing to note: the skirt underneath is a pencil skirt, so I had to be careful getting in and out of cars and climbing steep stairs (I had to make a speech on stage). Other than that, it was very comfortable. I'm 5'0" so the outer skirt came down to the knees. Finally, consider a strapless low-cut or demi-bra (black). A normal strapless might peep through.
