Unique color
This was a unique color. Sort of a greenish gray. I just found I didn't reach for it. I was going for adding different colored purses in the mix, but I'm finding I'm not that adventurous! 😂 It's a lovely purse and well made.

This dress fit fine. I was able to button all the buttons with no gaps in chest. I'm just realizing a drop waist type of dress just isn't the right fit/style for me. This was a very strange design. It had a sort of built in bra that had bra clasps in back separate from the zipper. There were 4-5 hook clasps. Very difficult to get on without help. This was too tight in the bust for me. I could zip it up, but I couldn't do the hook clasps for the "bra". I tried without doing the clasps, but it just bulged out in the back. The pleats on this dress make this one stand out. A nice weight linen...not too thick or thin. The belt is attached on the left side. Makes lengths a little uneven. I tried 3 different ties. Tied with bow in back, middle front, and side to the right. I thought to the side looked best. Can dress up or down. I've worn with flip flops and hat. A nice length that hits me tight at the knees. A lovely shirt dress. Loved the color and fabric. There was just extra fabric and the bust, back, waist, hips. I think a large might fit me better. Or it could be a dress where I am in between sizes. I had plenty of room in all areas with an XL. It wasn't overwhelming, but I would have preferred a more fitted look. I read the reviews and sometimes too short dresses end up ok on me. Well, the reviews were right. It's really short. The dress fit, but at 53, this would not be an appropriate dress for me! Well, I was able to zip it all the way up...but no breathing room! I think the denim might have relaxed enough. But the tightness really highlighted my back flaws. I'd have to wear it with a cardigan or light jacket. I think a 16 would be too big in the straps, but worth a try. I originally received this in a size 12 and couldn't zip past my waist. It's a side zipper and those tend to be tricky on me. I rented the size 14 and it was a much better fit. You can also cinch in the shoulder top. The strings are long, but I tied them in a bow. There was a little gap around chest area. But a little body tape would hold down.
