I did really love this dress. Ordered an 8 and a 10 and wore the 10. The 8 might have fit if I squeezed but who wants to squeeze!! The top has very little give so keep that in mind. The only reason it’s not a perfect score is going with the 10 meant the straps were a smidge too long and I kept having to pull them back up onto my shoulders. I didn’t wear a bra with it and that maybe could have helped but you don’t need to so again why would you. Still would totally recommend for a fall wedding!!!

Felt like it was made for me
I wish I had another event coming up to wear this again. I loved this dress. I'm usually between a 6 and 8, and the medium was perfect. It is floor length but with my heels (3 or 4 inches) it was fine. I held it while I walked but more as a preventative measure. The embroidery is beautiful and gives the dress an added texture that is really show stopping. It does make the dress heavier though, so I wouldn't wear it to a daytime hot event. The adjustable shoulders make this the perfect dress

I originally got both the 10R and the 12R thinking if I don't loose that weight, but the 10R was actually better. It hugged me just right around my waist and butt and wasn't too tight. The length was fine with my 3' ¾" shoes, but the train was slightly longer than I had expected so watch that. The actual sparkle of the dress was just right for prom, but they did irritate my arm pits a little. The scoop back was low enough you may need to get a special bra (or tuck it in like I did) but it's still modest and classy. I absolutely adored having this dress, and my rent it again just to wear it one more time. It's just as gold as it looks on the model, so I went with nude shoes (I know that was one of my concerns too)
