This blouse makes everything look sweeter.

The shirt makes everything look sweeter. I rented it to go over my baby bump. It's a little long for a pregnant belly, but if you undo the bottom button and tie up the front higher, it looks cuter over anything. The medium fit me just right as a size 4/6 pre-pregnancy.

Stay cool when on the go

It was definitely way too big for me. It runs large. Had the straps adjusted all the way up and it still gaped on the sides. Way too large for me. I should've gone with a small. But I was between a 4/6 pre-pregnancy, so I thought Medium was the right size. Because it was right for being on the go and staying cool during our Hawaiian heatwave, I wore it much more than I would've had it been the right fit.

This is a fun boyfriend style top.

The boyfriend style and the asymmetrical front is distinct. I borrowed it to be nice and loose over my baby bump, so I knotted the front instead of wearing it as is because the batwing and coccoon shape would only emphasize my bump and make me look like a walking egg. But knotted over leggings or a tight body con midi skirt or maternity dress? I looked like a really cool eclectic art teacher.

Adorable sweater for unforgettable bump announcement vacation photos

It's a streamlined fit. It would fit a loose-ish tee or a tight collared shirt underneath if you so wished. I like that because it's thinner, it's flattering and gives a nice slimming effect, while the curved hem defines the bump. It would be cute half tucked into a pair of pants if you can find a pair of jeggings or jeans that don't cover the bump. I also love that it's not made with wool or a wool blend because I'm allergic as hell. The last thing I want is to be warm at the cost of feeling itchy all the time. Because it's on the thinner side, it layers well under thicker clothes. For fall, it could layer well under a fitted leather jacket, or a denim jacket. I wore it under a parka for a wintry baby moon in New Zealand this August (it's winter during our summer), and it gave my travel wardrobe just the right amount of snow bunny cuteness. But again, it could work as a spring sweater or an early fall layering piece because it's so light. I love it. If it weren't maternity specifically, I would buy it so I could wear it long past pregnancy.

Wanted something cute and neutral for vacation

The color wasn't the most flattering on me (olive), and the empire line of the waist is curved so it emphasizes the bump a little too much. In my case, it sort of made me look HUGE. For some that's not an issue, but I didn't think it was as cute as it could be. Of course, I paired it with bulky sweaters and pants so it wasn't the most streamlined. But with a pencil skirt and sneaks or booties, it could be really cute. For a brown girl, I would try a different color. A more lively one. I think it comes in a muted blue. That probably would've worked on my golden skin a lot better.

Cozy warmth for adventures

Fits over the bump perfectly because it's a long line open cardigan. Can wear it long after pregnancy! It's so warm and cozy, it kept me warm on my winter adventures in New Zealand in temps of 40°F or lower. Paired with a parka, I was toasty warm. I like that it has deep, sturdy pockets, too. Perfect for when it was a warmer, 50°, sunny day and I didn't need my coat. I just threw this on over a thick tee or tunic and added a scarf, and I was good to go.

Warm and perfect for cold adventures in Middle Earth

Fits over my 4.5 month bump with a waist tightening detail. It's lined with micro fleece faux fur to keep the body and head warm. Nice zip pockets keep your belongings secured. There's a removable faux fur liner you can clip to the hood for extra warmth, but I left it off. It would probably fit me until I'm 6-7 months, but not sure how it would fit over a full 8-9 month belly. The only con is that the sleeves are not line with the micro fleece, so my arms got colder than my body did in windy winter conditions. I had to make sure to wear a thick sweater underneath to ensure my arms didn't get too chilly. Other than that, it was perfect for a mild winter adventure in New Zealand.
