Agree with other reviewers, chest area is very awkward. I do not have large boobs and the tiny triangles on the front didn’t fit over my bust. I actually ended up wearing the backwards. It looked like a smock dress. The back was a little low cut but honestly looked less odd than when I had it on correctly!

I rented this for my birthday dinner. I would say it runs small, I sized up from a L to XL. It's very flattering, I usually shy away from short sleeves but the flutter sleeve looked nice on my figure. It is see though and quite sheer. I noticed it right when I took the dress out of the bag and figured it was just the way the light hit. But when I went to wear it I noticed it again. Might be worth wearing a slip underneath. I wore nude bike shorts and felt fine.

This top surprised me. I was expecting more of a poplin material but it's a stretchy material which took me by surprise. I rented this for Christmas Eve. I am a size 12, and carry most of my weight in my hips. I went with the large, I sometimes wear M in sail to sable if the fit is more A line. This was a little snug around my hips and I probably would have felt more comfy in the XL had it been available. It's very cute and perfect for the holidays. I felt the sleeves were an awkward length and ended up rolling and cuffing them to be more 3/4 sleeve length.

I rented this for a corporate holiday party. I was a little worried the lace would look lingerie-ish but it does not come across that way in person. I'm between 10-12 and usually fit into size 10 J Crew without a problem. But I wish I had rented the size 12. I have big hips and the lamp shade paneling or whatever it's called wasn't the most flattering on that area. It kind of hugged my hips too much. The ten fit fine but I think I would have felt more flattering in a bigger size.

I originally rented a size Large based on reviews that it ran small but luckily, a few weeks before this dress was due to arrive, a friend rented it for a shower. I rented this for a birthday party that I was hosting for my husband. I realized on Wednesday I had nothing to wear for the party on Saturday so RTR to the rescue! I own a few Sail to Sable dresses and tunics and am a size M in all of those. So to be honest I didn't look at the fit notes and just ordered based on that. I am 5'7", 165lbs, 36B with broader shoulders and larger (muscular) arms. The shirt was tight across the top over my shoulders and very tight on my arms. I took it off while decorating for the party because I was honestly afraid I was going to rip it while hanging up decorations. It was, however, loose around the middle. I think the Large would have fit my shoulders & arms but been too baggy and frumpy across the midsection. I only rented the Medium so I couldn't compare but just a warning for broad shouldered girls, consider a backup size or sizing up. I liked the top overall and would rent again.

I rented this for my husbands company party which is normally a dressier cocktail for attire. This dress hit the mark perfectly. I received multiple complements all night. I ordered my regular size of 8R. I am 5'7", 165lbs, 36B athletic build and pear shape. I wore this dress with 4 inch heels but had I worn flats the back would have just brushed the floor. The waist of the dress fit fine. I don't normally have an issue with the bust area but did find it a bit tight on me. The dress was tight right across my boobs and caused my armpit fat to show more than usual. I ended up just pulling my hair in front to hide it so it looked fine. However, I wore the dress from about 6pm-2am and by the time I got home I was ready to rip it off. The back of the dress and arm holes were digging into my skin, so much so that there were marks. It was fine, they went away, but it was uncomfortable towards the end of the night. I also expected the material to be thicker but it was very thin. This was not an issue, just not what I was expecting. I would rent this again but would consider sizing up.

I rented this for a night out on my honeymoon. Based on reviews and recommendations by the stylist I went up a size to a Large, my usual size is medium. The dress itself fit fine. I assume the medium would have been a tight fit which I didn't want. I am 5' 7", 165 I do have fuller hips and am pear shaped and this complemented me perfectly. The straps were about a half inch too long, that was my only thing. I ended up just pinning them shorter and wearing my hair down to hide the pins. I also taped the boob area down just for extra coverage.
