I've worn this 3 times during the rental--to work, to a conference, and to church/lunch. It was comfy, fitted at the actual waist and pulls a little gappy there on me, but then lays nicely over my mom tummy below. I'm between an 8 and 10 for many things, this was an 8 and I like the way the top fits so not sure I'd size up even given the waist

My 4 instead of 5 stars is for the weird wrap situation--found it hard to keep snug enough but not make it too tight. The self-fabric tie was kind of free-floating and ended up sliding up onto my skin or my shirt. Thin material, wear a thong. Light weight and good for summer

fits as expected true to size--I would have considered buying this dress but the thin fabric is fraying/disintegrating at buttons and edges. It has a bit of a vintage feel but I wouldn't want to pay for a dress with that much wear showing.

Great dress
Wore it to work and to the theater. Comfortable, and heavy cotton did not wrinkle. I'm 6'1 and the belt did not hit at the right place, so I wore it without and it worked fine. Almost bought and may rent again.
