Very light and perfect for casual summer day
Very light fabric and gorgeous print. Too high on the thigh for work (I'm 5'10"). Maybe could get away with it with tights but that might look weird with the asymmetrical hem. Maybe size up if you want some more room -- in heat the material does get clingy.

Great for work to drinks
Form fitting but with thick fabric so it holds you in. Can get away with it for work because it's so long, but prepare to shimmy through your day because the long skirt restricts movement (even on me, and I'm 5'10"). I wore this in summer and temps were around 90 degrees...the material was a little too thick -- better for colder temps when it's gray outside and you want some color

Very comfortable dress with good support.
I wear a 12-14, rented 14 and 16, wore the 16. It was a little roomy around the bust and I have big boobs (32 G) so if you are large-busted, this is a solid choice. I didn't even have to wear a bra because there's boning and support inside the dress. It puffs out in the skirt but has darting and structure so you don't look pregs when you're *not* actually with child -- it actually creates a really nice silhouette. I'm 5'10" and the skirt hit just above the knee. The fabric is thick so don't wear to a place where you'll be in a lot of heat.

I wore this to a summer wedding upstate NY. The dress code was "casual chic" and this was perfect.
This dress had me channeling Joan from Mad Men. It fits well and I got a lot of compliments. There are pockets! The necklace is also Rent the Runway (Oscar de la Renta) and I wore leopard print heels and carried a small gold clutch. The color of the dress is gorgeous -- it's somewhere between a sea and emerald green. I didn't wear a bra because the dress has a supportive top and wearing a bra gave the dress too much bulk. However, I did wish for more coverage/support as I moved through the night so wouldn't rent this dress again -- especially with dancing and stuff, I was just too aware of my boobs. I had to keep checking to make sure we didn't have a nip slip situation. If you are smaller than me -- like maybe up to a C or D cup -- this dress would probably work without an issue. Also, a size note, I sized up to a 14 to accommodate my boobs (my body fit the size 12, which is what I normally wear). #storyofmylife
