I was completely surprised by how comfortable this jumpsuit was. It's not tight, it's very breathable, and it's perfect for a summer day. I wore it to a friend's BBQ and completely forgot that I was wearing a rental. I just felt like I was wearing something comfy and low-key. It looks great on and was a perfect length for my height (2R hit me at mid-calf). The one suggestion I would give to potential renters is that if you care about your bra showing, then you should look into alternative options to a bra. The bottom of my bra did show in the cutout, but it complemented the color of the jumpsuit and I thought it looked fine. However, if you're attending a more formal affair, I would look into other options.

I attended a formal event with an older crowd and needed a dress that was interesting, classy, and conservative. I am giving this dress 5 stars for a number of reasons: length was just above the knee (I'm 5'8"), fabric was thick enough to stay structured (did not wrinkle), and I just really loved how it looked on me. A couple things to keep in mind: the bust area is a little larger (relatively not much) than the midsection/skirt parts of the dress so if you are flat chested it may seem large. Conversely, if you're hourglass, this dress is perfect as it will highlight your waist. Something that was weird but did not matter to me: the 4 was smaller than the 2 in fit. I'm normally a 2 and so I tried on that size first and it fit perfectly. I tried the 4 just to see, and it was super tight. I still could have worn it, but it wouldn't have been as comfortable. Each dress has a slightly different marble pattern. I absolutely loved it and also thought it hilarious that I matched the marble columns in the historic house. Originally, I did not choose this dress because I thought the pattern would be too much. RTR ended up sending me this dress in addition to my order because one of my sizes was returned by another customer unfit to wear. An example of their superb customer service and ability to style on the fly!

I liked how this dress looked on me, but the fit was uncomfortable. The top portion and skirt are attached at the front. This piece of fabric is large and fits strange. I also had issues with the zippers breaking in the back, which resulted in many trips to the bathroom to fix. The chest is tight so I would suggest those with bigger bust not to rent this dress. Also, the color is navy, not black.

The dress was perfect for NYE. Normally, I tend to shy away from dresses that might be too short due to being 5'8"/9", but it was appropriate for the occasion. The material is very comfortable and stretchy. I loved the pattern and colors in person. I would love to have this rental in my permanent wardrobe.

I never really rent jewelry and the $50 rental for accessories included in the summer style pass let me try some jewelry out (very successful!). I also rented dresses that are usually out of my rental price range and it was a huge hit. I will definitely be getting another style pass if they are available for the other seasons.

It kept my nephew entertained during my sister's rehearsal dinner, but it was not exactly what I was expecting. I was hoping it would be nude and gold, but instead the part that looks nude is actually kind of see-through. It was fine just not nice enough for the event.

I absolutely adore this dress. I actually attended a wedding last weekend and saw someone else wearing it (it looked great on her too!). I wore this to a semi-formal event that I held in a conservatory (so bright flowers and greenery everywhere). The color was perfect; definitely orange. I was really impressed with how the structure of the dress held up and the length was amazing. Because it was a work event, I needed something to the knee, and this one fit the bill. In terms of undergarments, there is built in boning and bra-type support in the top so I did not wear a bra. I was thinking I would need spanx, but the dress is a thicker sliiiightly stretchy material so spanx were not necessary. Actually, since it was so hot, I think spanx would have made the experience not so awesome. I paired the dress with the Belle Fleur Collar from kate spade new york accessories and the Wishbone Love Note Clutch from Lily Pulitzer Handbags.

I really loved the color of this dress for summer. Unfortunately, my picture has some weird coloring, but it's really bright and tropical. The skirt is flowy and nice. I am usually a 2, but rented the 4R and 4L (I believe the 2 was not available). I'm glad I went up a size because the rib cage area of both dresses was tight. It still fit me, but someone who has a larger bust than me would probably have issues. I ended up wearing the 4L because the 4R was way short (5" wedges). The 4L was also a little short, but if my shoes had been an inch shorter it would have been perfect length. I would say to pack a slip if you can. The dress is beautifully made, but in full sunlight, you can see your legs in the skirt (a little risque if you have a family affair outdoors). I really loved this dress, and recommend it.

I wore this to a graduation. I really loved the color and the texture. Like some other reviewers mentioned, the lining is a lime green color. The length was perfect (not too short for seating on bleachers!). The only issue I had was it was a little bit of a strange fit. The stomach area was really big so I wore a belt. It was not a big deal just not what I expected.

I loved how this dress looked on me. I wore it to my sister's bridal shower. Modest length, but still fun. I rented both the 2 and the 4. I probably could have worn the 2 without a bra, but I ended up wearing the 4 with a strapless bra. The straps are a little long, which is not a big deal if you have some tape, but could get annoying if you do not.

I wore this for my fancy birthday dinner. I was surprised that I sized down (to a 0) for this dress, but that was due to the top of the dress. The bottom could have fit most sizes of people. I didn't need to wear a bra (I couldn't have fit anything in there if I tried anyway), and it was absolutely beautiful coloring (sparkle specks that might not be obvious in the picture online). A little short sitting down, but not uncomfortably so.

I normally am between a 2 and a 4 (wear some size 2 and some size 4), and the 2R and 2L both weren't available for my event so I rented only the 4L in this style. I was hoping it wouldn't make too much of a difference, but I rented a second style just in case and ended up wearing that with the belt from this one because it's cool. Length was perfect (I'm wearing 4" heels in the picture and the dress is just grazing the ground). I really wanted to wear this dress, but it was just way too big. I am holding up my shoulders in this picture to keep it up, but just relaxed it literally was falling off. It is made to look great and stunning on bigger busted women than me. Looking back, I wish I had also rented the 0L because it might have worked, but everything worked out great and I had a successful Rent the Runway experience anyway!

Looking at the dress online, I wasn't sure if it was "the one." This dress was actually my back-up style, but I'm so glad I rented it! At 5'8", the long showed my 4" heels a little bit so it's a good thing I didn't try the regular length (definitely would have looked weird). Overall, the fabric is VERY forgiving. In terms of the fit, the skirt/bottom part of the dress is true to size, whereas the top part deceivingly has lots of room. I probably could have worn the 4L instead of the 2L only going by the fit in the skirt because in the skirt there wasn't a crazy amount of difference, but the top was hanging off of me in the 4L and would have been a wardrobe malfunction in the making. I would say depending on your bust size this dress is perfect for any body shape (and I even think if I had more curves, I would have looked more knockout. hah) . The 2L was great for my A/B bust, but I could imagine any larger size would be hard to wear for small busted women. As always, Rent the Runway saves the day! :)

I loved this dress! I flew in from out of town and had this sent to my sister's apartment. I was not sure what undergarments to bring, but was pleasantly surprised that any would have worked. The dress went to midthigh and was easy to dance in (as you can see by the picture). I received many compliments from fashionable ladies who especially liked the detailing around the neck. I almost packed it in my luggage, but sadly remembered that I had to send it back.

I absolutely love this dress. I was thinking that I might need a special bra for the open back. My normal bra stuck out a little, but the dress has a little bit of extra fabric on the inside of the back that I tucked over my bra. It looked like the dress was made that way. The pink and the blue are really pretty in the pattern, and I loved how modest the front of the dress is. Warning: I gave this four stars rather than five because colored underwear of any type shows up. I had the dress delivered to someone's house that I was visiting while in town for the wedding and I had to make a special trip to Target to get some underwear that worked. The dress was not tight, but it still showed up because there is no lining. It was a good length on me. I had to worry a little bit when sitting down, but that's only because I was self-conscious about the underwear situation. I got major compliments from people of all ages while dancing all night and was able to tell people about RTR who had never heard of it!
