Exactly what you expect
Solid shift dress, my comment about it running small is primarily in the hips. A 12 is the right size on top, but it's tight across the hips and rides up a little to accommodate. Still serviceable, but it's a smidge uncomfortable, particularly when sitting and taking off/putting on. The colors in the stitching and beading are a little more muted than they appear in the photo - more a dark purple/brown than red and a yellow green or olive green vs. bright yellow. Still very pretty, just different.

Runs small, ruffle doesn't work for work.
I rented the 12 and it was too tight across my butt and hips. No way I could have sat in it. I rented for a conference and also thought the length and ruffle combined made it more party than professional. A blazer would've probably evened it out, but I didn't get that far.

Super solid, true red dress
Beautiful dress. True red, nice thick material that gives you structure. Straps are too long by about an inch, so fashion tape is a must. Very low cut, and the seam in the chest area is odd. It will cut across your boob, no matter what size it is. Bigger chests = more tape. Bra is not an option here.

Great color, thick material
Got this for work and it's just as expected. The shoulder area is a little strange fitting, but otherwise it's just as expected. A super long pullover dress, you kind of have to swim through it. It's very long, but I taped it up to keep it more manageable. It runs large. I'm usually a 12-14 and I got the L, and honestly it's loose enough that I think I could've made the M work. Arm holes are my biggest fear in dresses with any kind of sleeve, but these aren't constricting at all, so no unflattering squishing.

Great fit, looks put together
I love this dress. The cut of the neckline is so flattering, and I really like the button details. I'm always nervous that XL is a 10-12 in Adelyn Rae since I'm typically 12-14, but this dress fit with no problem and was completely comfortable.

Lightweight, great fit
Rented for some work events where I knew I'd be moving around a fair amount, and out in the heat of Louisiana. The crepe keeps it super lightweight and cool, but of course shows any moisture. It's not a bright shade of teal, but it's a nice break from my primarily black and white wardrobe. Runs a bit small, but I thought only around a half size. I'm typically between a 12 and a 14, rented the 14 and it fit great - I might have gotten a 12 to zip, but skeptical I could have worn it for long, if at all.

Soft with a flattering neckline
Really soft material. I found the neckline to be really flattering, but it IS low cut and you have to do some adjusting when you first pull it on. The problem is in the length, which lots of folks mentioned, but which I ignored. When is this a problem: sitting (what felt like the whole lower half of my back was exposed); pulling your hair back or adjusting a purse strap or basically any activity where you lift your arm to shoulder height or higher, your belly will be exposed. Maybe with very high waisted pants? Or if you have a very flat stomach that you don't mind flashing intermittently? Wanted to love it, but couldn't get there.

Soft, thick fabric = great for winter
Definitely runs large. Usually a large is pretty fitted on me (which I prefer), but this is still boxy and has lots of room. Great if you're trying to cover something, but less great if you want to he able to see your shape. Stretches a bit as you wear as well, so I definitely think size down if you're looking for a true to size or not baggy fit. As others mentioned it is navy, but it's super super dark.

Flattering cut, heavy material
Overall, I really liked the cut of this dress. The v-neck is a little bit deep - it didn't slip much during the day, but I was aware that there was danger. The material is thick and heavy, though I wouldn't say it is particularly nice material. It's definitely forgiving and doesn't show lines. The heaviness does make it start to stretch out pretty quickly. There's no scenario in which I'd ever say I was a size M, but I would rent a medium if I got this dress again.

Beautiful color, extremely flattering cut
Can't say enough about the cut of this dress - it is insanely flattering, including the ruffle at the bottom, which can be VERY hit or miss for me. I didn't wear this dress because it was a smidge tight in the arms and (more importantly) it was too thin for winter. It's not lined at all, so be advised on that front.

More understated than expected
I got these to glitz up my everyday look a bit. I like them, but they fell short of 5 stars in two ways for me: they're a tiny bit too long and they poke me in the shoulders intermittently; the stones are a little dull and don't catch the light very well so they don't stand out as much as I expected.

Unflattering buttons
From the photos, I expected the material to be a thick jersey type fabric, but it's actually a finely ribbed, synthetic feeling fabric. It was exceptionally tight on me, and the buttons looked crazy around the bust and hips. Better for a straighter figure and/or if you're able to size up (I rented the Large, so no option to size up for me). Plan for spanx!

Small and unforgiving
I was so excited for this top, but it runs small (I rented a size Large). I've found this material to be super forgiving and smoothing in other brands, but that was NOT the case here. Once I unplastered this from my upper body, I sent it right back.

Thick, classy sweater
Love this sweater. It's tough to find thick, warm sweaters that are elegant looking, but this one fits the bill. I didn't wear it off-shoulder, but didn't think it was awkward letting it just sit naturally. It's a smidge short , but unless I lifted my arms all the way up, I didn't have problems with accidentally showing skin.

Just fine, with a little flair
Overall this dress was fine, but I only wore it once and don't plan to rent again. The ruffle at the bottom gave it a little bit of flair. I've never shied away from a v-neck, but this hit mid bra cup on me, so there was no avoiding a cami under, which is a look I just don't love.

Overall unflattering
This was just the wrong dress for me. I didn't wear it, but the size 12 did fit. It was shorter than I was comfortable with, but it would've been fine with tights. The middle seam doesn't create a waist, it's just a visible line and the cut of the top is just tough. No stretch, so it contributes to the dress riding up even higher. This is for a straight/narrow body type, I don't recommend for curves.

Warm
Depends on what you're looking for out of this item. It's not what I'd call "fashionable." It's huge, super thick material and a little itchy (30% wool, and I'm allergic to wool but that's on me for not checking). But its warm and fits the bill if you're looking for something cozy and casual to lose yourself in. The weight makes it tough to cart around and I couldn't figure out how to layer it or carry a purse effectively.

Textured fabric makes it a little bulky
I think this is a love it or leave it dress. The fabric is textured, almost like a lightly marled carpet texture. For some reason, it gave the denim-y color a slightly matronly feel to me. It's soft and stretchy, but the textured aspect of it adds some bulk to the fit, which might look better on a less curvy person than me. For a slimmer, straighter body type, this could potentially make it a nice fall/winter dress, which could be the upside of the fabric's thickness.

Versatile option
Great dress, easy to dress up or down for whatever your day needs. The fabric is nice - it's a solid step up from a jersey dress, and is pretty warm. The material is super stretchy and the ruching around the stomach area is forgiving. On second look, the fact that it's not black is something to consider. Worn with black tights, it looks faded.

Meh all around
The color is actually a mottled dark/light grey vs. solid, which is probably what I liked best about this dress. The arms were a little tight (still wearable, but might bug by the end of the day), and generally the dress just didn't sit well on my body. It did this weird bunching in the hip area and the frill at the bottom just hit in a place that managed to make me look curvy in all the wrong ways.

Surprise love story
I picked up this dress on a whim in my Update order, and it turned out to be my favorite! I'm generally a large/12 in Hutch with room to spare, but XL was the right size in this dress. There's not much stretch to it, and it's more on the fitted side through the top and hips. It's lightly lined with a super soft fabric that will make it perfect for fall/mild winter weather.

Super cute and so flattering
I knew I would love this dress, and I do. BUT, it is SHORT. I'm 5'4, so I thought it would be closer to knee length than it is on the model, but that photo is accurate. It covers my butt in the back, but I would NOT bend over. It's also tight in the waist/ribs. I've worn other size L Greylin items without any problem, but I barely got this zipped. Can't decide if I'm going to risk it for a Christmas party (with tights over spanx) or send it back. If it came in XL, I would probably buy it.

Light, stretchy and classy
Great dress, overall - it doesn't stand out, but it's very classy. The material is lightweight, stretchy and forgiving. I'm pretty consistently a 12 in Slate & Willow, but I definitely could've worn a 10 in this dress. The sweetheart neckline is a nice touch, but is still relatively conservative in my opinion. Because it runs big, a push-up bra is a good idea to fill out the top.

Pretty much perfect
The leather is buttery soft and a beautiful reddish brown color, and I've found it super breathable. I struggled with picking my size as I have large arms. The L is snug in the arms, but is 100% wearable. It's a little snug overall when zipped, but as other reviewers have said, it looks great open. Super glad I took a chance on it!

Vibrant color, soft material
I think this dress runs a little bit small. Given how clingy the material is, I think I would have been uncomfortable in a L, though it is stretchy enough that I'm sure I could have gotten into the L. The color is a beautiful jewel tone, and the fabric is very soft and feels high quality. This dress hit me just above the kneecap. The neckline is very conservative for my taste - would be 5 stars if it were a boat or scoop neck. A statement necklace would be welcome to make it more interesting.

Super soft, comfy with flattering stripes
Material is super soft, stretchy and almost pajama-like. Makes for a super solid fall dress. Runs true to size, but it is short. I'm 5'4, so I expected it to be just a little above the knee, but it's pretty much as short as I can imagine wearing comfortably as an everyday item. Add tights, this is less problematic.

Cute, nicely structured top
I feel like this runs true to size for the brand - which runs large overall. That said, this shirt is made to be form fitting but is made of a nice, smoothing material, so being +/-1 size from your normal is no big deal. The material in the arms is much thinner, stretchier and less compressing. I ended up 2 sizes from what I'd normally wear in this brand, and the only place I felt it was how the top piece of fabric sat when I wasn't sitting up super straight. It was really only noticeable to me, as I got tons of compliments.

Nice earrings, but they don't stand out
These earrings were a little underwhelming. They aren't heavy, but you are definitely aware of having them on, in part because they're a little clunky. They are darker than I expected - the crystals don't shine or catch the light, so I felt like they blended into my hair more than I would've liked. Fine for a $3 investment, but I don't think I'd rent again.

Super soft, pretty pattern
I loved the material of this dress - it's super soft, and the material is a little bit ridged, which emphasizes the pattern nicely. It fits exactly as shown just below mid-thigh, which was a little surprising given that I'm short. If you're tall, be advised. I also felt like this dress fit true to size vs. other Hutch dresses I've worn that tended to run big. Unfortunately, the seam where the skirt meets the top panel in the back had two holes and had clearly been (poorly) restitched, and I wasn't comfortable wearing it in that condition, so beware that this dress may be toward the end of its lifecycle when it gets to you.

If I could only wear one dress to weddings, this would be it!
I'm the kind of person that doesn't like re-wearing dresses to weddings, even if there is NO guest list overlap. This dress made me re-think that philosophy because I liked it so much. It may run a smidge big, and it's also stretchy. I forgot my spanx at home (thanks, drunk packing), and it didn't create a major issue. You could also tie the straps in the front to hide a belly situation if you're worried about it. The bottom of the dress is so fun, and the slit is a nice touch, but doesn't make sitting a challenge at all. I wish it had played to my chest a bit more - it kind of squashed rather than highlighted, so consider a strapless bra to keep the shape.

Shockingly flattering fit
I was SO skeptical of a romper/jumper ensemble, but I am so glad I gave this one a try. It's bright red, the top cinches down very nicely and didn't give me any concerns. I wore it with a black cardigan to work and by itself out for drinks after. I thought HARD about buying this I liked it so much. While I didn't have problems with the zipper (on the side), I think the double-sided aspect that gives the top its asymmetrical shape plus the side-tie may add to the time and complexity of getting in and out of this.

Flattering dress
The material is nice, kind of a durable sateen feel to it. Doesn't show lines, covers a regular bra, and is very comfy. The chevron pattern is flattering, as is the fit. I paired with a cardigan for work and a retreat and liked the look. I just can't help but feel that the dress is a little boring, even though there's plenty to like about it. It's an easy wear and will look nice, but don't expect to stand out.

Loved the material
Nice, thick material on this dress. I found it ideal for conference wear. Easy to pair with a cardigan or blazer. It's very stretchy, and by the end of the day the large was running a little loose on me, so do not size up. My only issue was the neckline - it looks like a standard v-neck in the photo, but it was a much narrower v on. I guess that makes it more conservative if you're worried about that, but it just looked odd to me.

Strange fabric
Love the color. I was expecting a silky piece, but the top layer is more like very thin velvet and had a bit of a watered look to it. The fit is a little snug in the waist, but true to size elsewhere. That meant above the waist was a little loose on me. In combination with the two layered sleeves, it looked bulky. Didn't love it, didn't even wear it.

Cute dress - felt a little like a grown-up Easter dress. Material is thicker than I expected for the relatively casual look, and it's lined. The seam around the hips makes the dress run small in that area. I don't usually have problems with fit in the hips, but I couldn't get this one over my hips and I tried pulling it up and over my head - neither way worked.

Beautiful dress with pizazz
I really liked this dress, and probably would have worn it if I could have gotten it zipped. The material is nice and thick, but there's no stretch and I couldn't get the zipper all the way up. The cut-outs do run higher than expected, so plan to order the size that really fits you so you don't have to worry about a bra. And if you don't like form-fitting dresses, I would steer clear - if you order a little bit big, you may need some fashion tape in weird places.
