I think the large would have been more flattering, but I thought this was such a sweet dress for fall/winter transition. I wore with a scarf because I felt a bit busty in it and was a tiny bit self conscious of the fit through the stomach.

Great dress for dancing and really comfortable. Definitely fitted through the middle.
I am on the bustier side, and short, so it was just a little low cut for me, but otherwise, great dress! I wore spanx underneath, but you could definitely get away without them. The blue is really deep. I wore it with a little black shawl for the wedding, and nude heels. Metallic heels would also be really cute! Good cocktail dress as well.
