Classic fun
This dress was so comfy! Smocked sides mean you can probably size down with no issue. Loved!

Runs very small!
I sized up to a 12 from my normal size 10 because I know this brand runs small. May have been okay with two sizes ho but ultimately did not wear.

Gorgeous dress, too revealing for me
This dress was fantastic quality. Gorgeous and flattering but it showed more cleavage than I would have liked so I didn't end up wearing it. A pin or hook eye closure would have helped but I was afraid to pin the silk.

Great quality fabric
I really liked this dress. It was a little low but luckily had a couple hook and eye closures nEar the chest that helped tremendously. At first I overlooked these and thought the dress was unwearable. I loved the heavy yet breathable cotton! Well made dress

Supportive and comfortable
This dress was so fun! Loved the built in bodice for support. No need to wear a bra. Some reviews said it ran small but I found it ran true to size and had a tiny bit of give in the fabric. Would definitely rent again!

Awesome color, flattering cut.
I loved this dress! I had a hard time picking between the size 8, which looked better on the chest but puckered a bit when I sat down, and the size 10 which I felt didn't accentuate my waist as well because there was a bit more fabric there. Finally I decided to wear the larger size so I'd be more comfortable after eating, and be able to dance all night. The lining of the dress did show when I sat down, which was a bit bothersome, but I wasn't sitting down much. I think this dress is so versatile and could be worn to a number of occasions. I would definitely recommond this.

Perfect dress for many occasions!
I really liked the fit of this dress. I ordered a size 8 and a size 10. Both fit nicely, however, I felt there was more arm room in the 10. The cap sleeve makes the arm fit a little tricky, so you might want to go a size up if you have larger shoulders. The length was just right for me, and I loved the empire waist. As many reviews have said, the color is more of a gem tone green, and not minty as it looks in the sample photo. I would definitely rent this dress again. In fact, I wish I owned it!

Not what it looks like
This dress looks completely different on, than it does in the photo. For me, the cut of the pockets was very unflattering and created a terrible "love handle" look on me, which is not usually a problem area. The pockets cut all the way around the back too which made it just generally unflattering. I thought this empire waist dress would look great on me since I'm large chested with a narrower waist, but it was not a good look. I think this dress would work well on someone who is very narrow through the waist and hips, almost a boyish figure (which isn't usually the case for dresses of this cut).

Numerous compliments on how pretty my dress was and how great it looked!
I loved this dress! I ordered it in two sizes, and 8 and a 10, because I have a larger butt/legs and didn't want it to pull across the hips as dresses like this sometimes do on me. Both sizes fit me, but the 10 was way too large in the chest and the 8 was slightly tight across the ribs. I decided to wear the 8, which was a great choice because it became more comfortable the longer I had it on. The bottom part of the dress has a little bit of stretch, which made it really comfortable (and also eliminated any pulling across the hips). The bodice is form fitting, and flattering. Overall, I LOVED this dress, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
