I wore the 6R, which is a size down from my regular 8R. The skirt was long, so despite being 5'8" in 3" heels, you couldn't see my shoes and I had to hold up the skirt at times (which is part of the charm!). Love the breezy fabric on the full skirt, was a lot of fun to twirl in and kept me cool (ish) during the 105* outdoor Napa wedding I wore it to. The pattern is so fun that accessories were kept pretty minimally, and meant that no one was wearing anything close in the 200+ person party. There are no pockets, which was my biggest downside. The sizing down mean that I could wear it without a bra, as the crisscross kept everything together. Overall, fun to dance in & flattering while still staying conservatively covered.

The fabric is comfortable and stretchy, and the fit is slightly large (I am usually on the bigger side of a size 8 and it fit me perfectly). Hugged my curves just right- I considered wearing spanx but decided against it because it would have created visible lines under my dress. I am 5'8" and wore the 8L with a pair of 3.5" heels, which was perfect- the hemline skimmed the floor but I was never in danger of tripping. I paired with simple pearls for a classic look because I wanted the dress to do all of the talking. Absolutely gorgeous, I felt so glamorous walking around all evening at a black tie wedding. I would rent it again in a heartbeat! This was my first RTR experience and I am sold.
