Loved the colors and pattern on this dress and received numerous compliments! I wish this was a more tailored/fitted dress, though. Without the belt, this dress definitely hangs loose and boxy, but the belt helps a lot. I found it a bit too squared off around my shoulders for me, even when it was cinched at the waist.

I rented this wrap dress to wear to take my boyfriend out for his birthday dinner. It's 100% silk, so it was very comfortable, but I found the bottom part of the dress felt static-y when I put it on. I'm so glad I decided to pair leggings under the dress, because the dress definitely had a tendency to slip open (especially when sitting at dinner). It's a beautiful dress, but I couldn't help but feel that I was just wearing a high quality bathrobe.

I loved this sweater, but sadly it didn't fit me quite right. The quality is nice, and the blue is a beautiful color. I'm only 5'2" with a short torso, so the proportions on this was a little off on me. I could have made the long length work, but the key hole in the back by the bow was just a little too loose on me. I didn't feel 100% confident in this one, so I sent it back so I could rent something I preferred instead.

I was so excited to get this and loved the fun print and pretty blue color, but the fit wasn't right on me. The skirt itself zipped up with no problem and fit well at my waist and through my hips, but hugged me in all the wrong ways across my mid-section. I carry all my extra weight in my stomach, and the way that this skirt is rouched, I felt like it highlighted exactly the part of my body that I'm insecure about, rather than smoothing it over and "hiding" it. The next size up (a 10 instead of an 8) *may* have made a difference and allowed me to feel comfortable wearing it, but I wasn't encouraged enough by the fit to try renting it again. This would be super cute if you have a flatter stomach, or a more athletic build!

This was very cute and super comfortable! Heavy, good quality sweater, that was warm and cozy! I ordered a Medium, but I'm 5'2" and don't have terribly wide shoulders. The Medium fit, but was a little big in the shoulders and definitely a little long in the sleeves (maybe 1/2" too long for me). For just sitting at my desk in the office, I didn't mind and it was easy to push the sleeves back a bit when I needed to. Because this is a draped fit that doesn't need to close in the front, I probably could have gotten away with a Small in this one.

I originally ordered this dress in an 8 with a 6 as my backup size, but the 8 was so snug, I felt uncomfortable and that it was unflattering. Shout out to the RTR customer service team who helped me get a replacement size of this dress in a size 10, which was perfect! It fit like a glove, but in a way that I felt glamorous, sophisticated, and confident! I received SO many compliments on this dress. I have had my eye on this dress for around 3 years now and I'm SO glad I finally found the perfect occasion to rent it for. The back of the dress is the real show stopper, but I love that from the front, you can see a little mauve accent on the top of the straps to keep the dress interesting, and different from "just another lbd". I had read other reviews regarding the snaps on the bow coming loose, but I didn't have that problem at all. To be fair- I noticed that my size 10 dress had 4 snaps as opposed to 3 in the size 8, and the top corner of the bow was tacked to the strap, which helped add support. I'm not sure if that's a difference in design due to a larger dress size, or if I was lucky enough to receive a dress that had been slightly reinforced by a previous renter, but it worked beautifully for me! 10/10 would order again.

I loved this Kate Spade bag! It was the perfect pop of gold glitter to compliment my Badgley Mischka RTR dress! It was a great size to fit my phone, a pack of gum, ID, and lipstick, with a little room to spare. I wore it to my company holiday party, which is a cocktail party with food stations throughout the venue, so I loved that the bag had a chain so I could wear it hands free.

I wore this dress for a New Year's Eve party and had so much fun wearing it! The statement ruffle around the neckline/sleeves was so bold and flirty, and I felt really good in the dress! There is corset style boning in the bodice of the dress, but this is maybe the first time ever I wasn't being poked and prodded by boning in a structured dress like this. The material of the dress is a little slick (not a woven material). At first I wasn't sure how I'd like it, but it ended up being flattering, and it meant I could pair a glitter covered Kate Spade cross body and not suffer any pilling from contact with the dress. I would warn that the dress does run small. I'm a true hourglass, and a size 8-10. The XL was snug on me through my mid-section, but not uncomfortable. Because I'm only 5'2" with a short midriff, the top/sleeves felt a little loose, but were so structured with the ruffle that you can't tell they aren't snuggly anchored on my shoulders/arms. I would caution too, that the dress is short in the front. It was perfect for standing and walking around at a cocktail party, but gets pretty short when sitting down (I positioned my skirt on my lap when I found myself sitting).

This was my first experience with RTR and I was overall very impressed with my experience! I've known about this service but was always hesitant to use because of the lack of time for plan B if my dress selection fit. The reviews on this site I found to be SO helpful in choosing the right dress for this party. I was even lucky enough to receive my dresses 2 days ahead of schedule which alleviated some of my fears about a potential time crunch. The return process was SUPER simple and convenient. I will definitely be using RTR for future special occasions. I'm 5'2 and usually a size 8, and I felt this dress was definitely true to size. The open, scooped back is a real show stopper, and adds some flirt and drama to an eye-catching dress, while not being "too revealing." The dress was lined in a soft material that was thick enough to keep me from feeling any scratching from the sequins, which I have found to be a problem with similar dresses of lesser quality. While the dress was fitted (especially while sporting a bit of classic holiday season bloat), but I found it very comfortable to wear and move around in. It was fitted, but not tight or restrictive in any way. If you're looking for a bright fun dress that will leave you feeling glamorous all evening, this is the one!
