Perfect for a winter's night out!
I wore this with jeans and a longer tank (it's a bit cropped) for a night out. It was chilly, but this sweater/sweatshirt is substantial enough that I didn't even need a jacket. That's a good thing, since the really memorable. unique sleeves would be hard to stuff into coat sleeves. LOVED IT!

The fit of the dress was very current, but it was the most comfortable I've felt in a dress in a long time! Nothing right, nothing clingy. Absolutely loved it!

Not a dress meant for women with a medium/large bust.
I read through a jillion of the reviews before ordering my dresses. I thought this one would fit, but the amount of fabric on top hardly covered anything and the straps were too long/loose to adjust to hold anything up. It's a beautiful dress, but it must be best for women who can get away without a bra.

I read through a jillion of the reviews before ordering my dresses. Based on the description, it seemed like it would run true to size, but alas, I couldn't zip up the dress in the size I normally wear. Not a jab at RTR; I will definitely order dresses again in the future, but this one didn't work for my event.

Dress was fab, minus the faux-pas
At first, I had a great experience renting a dress from RTR for the first time. Everything happened just like I was told it would...the dresses arrived a couple days before the wedding and BOTH dresses I rented fit perfectly. I went with the fun, blue, sequined dress for a friend's wedding at a gorgeous outdoor estate wedding. HOWEVER, as I sat in the small, intimate crowd at the ceremony, I noticed another woman wearing the EXACT SAME DRESS. As I got over the embarrassment and surprise, I went over to her to see if it really was the exact same. Not only was it an identical match, she told me that she tried a site called Rent the Runway for the first time. SO, not only did we have the same dress on, but we both rented it for the first time from RTR. I was surprised that something this random would happen (what are the chances?!), but it makes me hesitate to rent from RTR again in case this happens again.
