I wore this to a "step-down-from-black-tie" wedding and it was PERFECT. This thick brocade high/low gown is fitted through the waist but full through the hips, thighs, and rear. It was nice for me since my thighs are my biggest (literally) problem area when it comes to formal gowns. Very nice material and detail! I am 5'7 and 125# and the size 2 was a bit big through the ribcage. I am a c-cup and the top fit well without being too risque. This is a very nice formal-ish dress with a hint of sexy. I had A MILLION compliments and will rent this again! Note: after reading other reviews (and based on my experience) this dress runs pretty true to size- but it does err on the side of large in my opinion. This jumpsuit is a DREAM !! Event: I wore this to a 1970's / Watergate themed reception with Carl Bernstein and it was the perfect mix of fun and professional. Size / Fit: I am 5'7, 125#, C-cup and the size 2 was perfect. I wore 2.5 inch heels. The shoulder to inseam measurement was great on me. Not too booby-licious (as some other DVF items are) but still fun. Garmet: The material is really nice and thick but has ZERO stretch. The belt needed to be steamed for seriously ten million years but it was worth it! I wore spanx underneath to smooth the upper thigh area where the jumpsuit was more fitted (on me).
