I was so eager to try this dress after reading the reviews. However, I couldn't wear this at all, as the top half sagged all around, hanging from my chest and back in a very unflattering way. I used all of the fashion tape that came with the order (as well as some extra I had packed, just in case!) and it still could not be helped. It just didn't fit at ALL, which was so surprising given that I typically wear a M or L. This order seems to have been cursed-- 4 dresses and no luck!

I've had great luck with RTR in the past, but this order was a flop. Both sizes of this dress fit awkwardly (baggy around the waist despite the elastic, and extremely tight in the chest). Neither size worked and so I wasn't able to wear this one at all. Too bad.

I was so excited about this dress. Unfortunately, it arrived in a 10R rather than the 10L I ordered, and so it barely touched the floor when I wore flats. Not a good look. Otherwise, it is a beautiful, classic silhouette, and the beadwork on the shoulder is stunning.

I wore this for a special date night, and it was even more beautiful than I expected! The color is a deeper navy than in the model photo, and looked beautiful with sparkly bracelet and earrings. I usually wear a size 8 or 10, and decided to go with a 10L based on fitting notes. It worked out, but I actually think an 8 would have fit slightly better as I found this a tad large for me. Anyway, this is a gorgeous, flattering dress that will make you feel like a movie star!

I wore this is a work party and it was such a hit! The fit was perfect-- exactly true to size. I wore shapewear underneath, just to smooth the midsection, but it's not necessary: this isn't an overly body-conscious silhouette. The neckline is high, the sleeves are perfect (not too tight, not too roomy), and the hemline falls at mid-thigh (fairly accurate in the model photo). I paired this with copper pumps and earrings, and that was it! A beautiful, classy dress-- perfect for any party or evening work gathering. Oh, and the burgundy color is even more beautiful in person!

I received this as part of the Mystery Bling package and could not have been more pleased. Wow, this bracelet is GORGEOUS! I wore it along with a pair of Nicole Miller earrings and they were the perfect complement to my navy gown. As others have noted, it is a clasp bracelet, not a bangle. And it does run large-- I would guess that I have average-sized wrists and this sort of slid around-- but I loved that look! I wish I could buy this!!!

I was so excited to receive this dress but, unfortunately, I found that it ran about a size small. I was barely able to zip up the back, and it cut in uncomfortably at the waist. This was a definite disappointment because I had followed the sizing notes and recommendations. Oh well! The look of the dress was very glittery and glam-- it would make a fabulous gown for a formal event, even a prom! I just wish I had known to order a larger size.

This was my first RTR rental, and I cannot imagine a more positive experience! I typically wear a US size 8 or 10, so I selected a 10 as my primary size and a size 6 as my backup (the 8 was not available). The 6 was too snug, so I wore the 10 and it fit like a dream. If you can believe it, this dress is even more gorgeous in person. The lining is a deep plum color, and the overlap is a medium purple with a slightly worn look to it... like the world's most beautiful macrame project. ;) The design was intricate and funky-- in the best possible sense of the word. The neckline was so striking that I skipped all jewelry except for a pair of bright green drop earrings. Because I wore this in cold weather, I paired it with opaque black tights and heels, but it could just as easily worked in warmer weather with strappy sandals. The material felt substantial and very good quality. In short, it was emotionally difficult for me to send this back! I felt so good wearing this that it wouldn't have mattered if no one else said a word, but this dress is so great that people just can't help themselves: I received some lovely compliments from strangers and my date alike. ;) Enjoy!

I added this as my second dress ($25) for a weekend work conference. I wore it to a "business casual" cocktail hour, and then to dinner, and it was a hit! It fit true to size, and the funky straps and thick material were very flattering. As other reviewers have noted, the color is a true black and the actual length is a bit longer than in the model photo. It hugs the body pretty closely, so I wore a pair of spanx to smoothe everything out, and the end result was a pretty, hourglassy effect. 4/5 stars because I was very pleased overall but it wasn't as unique a dress as some others.
