I knew this material wouldn't have much give at all, but the cut was not forgiving for broad shoulders. Paired with the asymmetrical sleeve action, I did not enjoy this rental. Would look great on someone built like the model- darker skin tone, slim shoulders. Too flesh colored for my PNW skin tone.

A great high waisted cut, and perfect straight leg, but NO stretch throughout. VERY tight through my thighs/booty, but I fear the size up would have looked sloppy. Good straight leg cut and great length- better suited for someone without thick thighs/round glutes.

Super short, no stretch throughout- the sleeves in particular were quite tight. I am an elite level weightlifter, and the blousing & short torso of this top did not flatter my broad shoulders. It also is VERY sheer. I tried a tank/shirt under it, but with the crop length, it didn't layer well. Would look great on someone with a slim upper body.

I rented this dress in both my usual size (6) and one size up (8) after reading reviews regarding the issue with tightness around ribs. If you consider yourself to have broad shoulders/larger ribcage AT ALL, do not rent this dress. The 6 wouldn't come close to zipping at the top, though the fit was right everywhere else. The 8 zipped, but the top was soo loose, it was drooping below my bust. I was so disappointed, because the dress is STUNNING. Beautiful material, GORGEOUS color- the pictures cannot do it justice! Personally, I did not find it to be too short. I just couldn't get it to zip with my large ribcage! However, if you are straight through your upper half, (even if you are busty), do try! It is a lovely dress, just not made for us hourglass gals.
