LOOOOVED this dress! Super comfy!

Was so happy with this dress. Borrowed a sticky strapless/backless bra from a friend to make it work. XS fit perfectly and was the right length even for a 5'2" shortly like me (with heels). Very comfortable, my husband went nuts over the whole look. Was able to dance in it all night! The seams on the front of it weren't my absolute favorite thing but it didn't diminish anything about the experience.

Sexy Rehearsal Dinner!

Really ended up liking this dress, but it took some time for me to warm up to it. The size 2 DID technically fit, but it really would have been too tight for me to have been comfortable all night. (And I think I was just sad because I've never had to use the bigger of the two sizes I've rented from RTR, so *tear*.) But I went with the 4 and it was totally fine. I did have to tape my cleavage area into the dress to get it to lay properly (and as not to flash people), but once I got myself all situated, it ended up being really comfortable and I got a LOT of compliments!

October Nuptials in New York

Dress was very very comfortable, and perfect for a fall/winter event where you want to be a little covered but not completely. Obviously, being that I'm 5'2" (and not the 5'10" model in the picture) it didn't have the same statuesque effect on my frame, but it was still nice. However, the sheer cutouts really didn't come through at all...it might have a different look on a taller person, but it basically looked like a nice, plain, black long-sleeved mini dress. Or that the wedding I was at was very dark. But that component, which I had been very excited about, didn't read at all in person.

Beautiful Brunchtime Wedding!

Dress was gorgeous...definitely more nude-toned than I expected (I had been thinking it was going to be more silver/gray-ish), but still beautiful. Didn't even try the medium because the small fit fine. LADIES: THIS IS A REALLY REALLY LOW-CUT DRESS. I had to find a "plunge" bra and then tape the cleavage parts onto myself as to not flash the other guests. That being said, the effect it had on my chesticles was AMAZING, but I was not expecting it to be as low-cut as it was. I wore it with ballet slippers because it was a picnic brunch affair but it'd be gorgeous with heels.

Wine Country Wedding!

Dress was ideal for the occasion - an outdoor summer ceremony, an indoor reception (rustic but still chic and glamorous) - it was the perfect cocktail dress at an event where some people were black tie and some where just suit-jacket-and-slacks. I ordered the 2 and the 4, and didn't even try the 4 once the 2 went on, but I feel like a size 3 would have been JUST right. Even though I'm generally on the petite side, my arms have always been my "problem area" and the sleeves were just a wee bit snug. Dress was SHORT (as am I!) so I couldn't imagine being taller and pulling the outfit off without flashing someone. It got rave reviews all around - some people mentioned being bothered by the chafing of the sequins but it didn't affect me. Also, dress was very light (versus other sequined dresses I've worn). Would say other than the fact that it does run a bit small, I did have to keep "sucking in" my tum all evening to get the most flattering look out of it (whereas with other dresses you can breathe more easily and it doesn't show every single, ahem, "roll."

Happy Sparkly New Year!

Omg, I look just like the model in the picture, right? ;) Okay, so I'm not 6 feet tall, but the dress was still absolutely adorable, and perfect for New Year's Eve. Keep in mind it's definitely not a summer dress - the dress is heavy (it's almost lined) and was ideal for a winter day. I got the 2 and the 4 and didn't even try on the 4 once the 2 fit like a glove. The sleeves fit me perfectly, which is odd because sleeves are ALWAYS long on me, so if you're long-armed, beware.

Wedding in Wine Country!

Loved the whole RTR experience (my first!). Rented a 2 and a 4, and didn't even try on the 4 when the 2 fit perfectly. The wedding said "Black Tie Optional" and when I first received the dress I was worried it might be too casual (it has a sporty feel and fabric) but with earrings and nude heels, it was perfect. The dress is in a very forgiving material, and was comfortable the entire night. Couldn't make a necklace work with it (the dress in person is truly teal and navy stripes, not simply teal ribbed as it looks in pictures) and opted for earrings so I didn't look too chaotic. Can't wait to rent my next runway!
