This is a beautiful dress but it just swallowed me up. I am short and need to tape up any long dress but there is so much fabric to this that I just wouldn't be able to. It's nice that this cinches in the waist but after 2 babies, I'd def need some Spanx to not show my forever post baby bump.

I got this for a cocktail party as part of my RTR Unlimited shipment but am sending this back. It's too wide on the shoulders for me and b/c the shoulders are already exaggerated, it just looks weird. Plus the darts are not quite where my boobs are so the dress just doesn't lay well on the chest area.

I ordered this dress in both a 00 and a 0 and unfortunately neither worked. I didn't try it on before the RTR return period. Because this dress is sorta backless, you really need your shoulders to fill the dress perfectly. Unfortunately, mine didn't and the sleeves kept falling off, and it wasn't something tape could fix. I also was disappointed in the fabric and color of the dress. I thought it was going to be a bit more substantial and the colors didn't seem as vibrant in person.

This dress is awesome! The back is sheer so it lends a bit of sexiness to the dress. My big concern was of course the length, as I'm only 5'1". I wore 3.5" heels with the dress and it was still too long but I was able just to safety pin it up without too much problem. I wore it to a black tie optional wedding and loved that it had such a fun color!

I'm petite and small-busted so found the top to be a bit big but not so big that I couldn't wear it. I loved the detailing on top and the color on the bottom so much that I figured it would hide the fact that it was just slightly loose. Great to dance in. I wore bright red lipstick and felt great all evening!

I'm highly coordinated and this dress was probably not right for me just for that reason. It took me a full 10 minutes just to figure out how to get into it. It is a beautiful dress; the color makes you feel like a gold statuette and the embellishments are great, but they also make the dress incredibly heavy. It was too long for my petite size and because it is beaded it would have been hard to fold it over with fashion tape. Plus, I just couldn't fill it out up top. This dress would be hot on a taller, more well-endowed woman. Just didn't work on me!

I originally rented this dress in XS for my 30th birthday and ended up not keeping it because the fit wasn't great. I'm a 34A and the dress made me look completely flat. I also felt that it was too skimpy for me - being very short and also very skin baring up top. It also was a bit loose on the stomach and was not as tight as other Herve dresses I've tried.

I loved the sweatshirt material lining of this dress - makes it super comfortable. The design is also a nice update to the LBD. I ended up returning this dress because it didn't hug me very well - the shoulders fit, as did the chest (I'm a 34A) but the stomach, hips and butt were a bit loose.
