Not too short, not too crazy, but definitely cute. This dress can be great for daytime or a casual dinner. I personally think it's more geared towards the daylight hours even though they show it with a clutch and black heels. I didn't wear it for any special occasion, but instead wore it with gold leather flip flops and my jean jacket for bumming around Martha's Vineyard (early September sunny day) with my husband. I loved it! Super comfortable.

This dress is gorgeous! The color and subtle design make it unique (it even has a bit of shimmer to the thread), and the cut is simply amazing. The top was very fitted, and the fabric thick enough, that I didn't need to use a bra. As per usual with the dresses I get from Rent the Runway, I got a million compliments. I was definitely the belle of the ball in a sea of black. This dress is perfect if you want to be the center of attention (it was my birthday, so yay!). However, if you're a bit conservative or shy, the plunging neck and the vibrant color might make this dress fall outside your comfort zone. Believe me though, this one is worth that leap. Take it!

This dress has the best color for summer! I wore it to a cocktail party at my husband's new restaurant and it really was an "all eyes on me" kind of dress. I received more compliments in this dress I think than I did at my wedding! I will say that the fit was a little funny on one side (more blouson than it seemed it should be), but I was able to tuck it into the fitted skirt so it wasn't too much of an issue (just had to re-tuck a few times). This dress can totally be dressed up or down according to your jewelry, hair, and shoes (I wore it with gold flip-flops to not be too clubby at the party). It's really light-weight and perfect for hot, summer weather. The back is fairly open, so instead of going braless (it's a little on the see-through side due to the thin fabric), I wore it with a lacy, Victoria's Secret bandeau so only lace was showing across the back instead of an ugly clasp. Finally, be aware that this is VERY short. If you're not ready to bare those legs, this isn't the dress for you. However, if you're looking for a show-stopper, this is the one!! Felt so amazing in this dress- LOVE.
