Not for the large of bust

Beautiful, fun dress, excellent fit through the waist, could not wear it though, at least not without a bra I was dying to show off. I'm a 44DD and the arms are cut such that a good three inches of bra showed on either side. The actual bodice fit quite nicely, and seemed to fall well, with regard to the seams and the boobs, but the side panels were just unfortunately small!

Well, now I want capes on all my clothes...

This was a super rental, I felt that it was a little short for my chubby legs when I first put it on, but that was just my critical inner voice, and I told her to go suck an egg. I am very appreciative of the second size backup, because I'm solidly a 22 in pants right now, but the 22 of this dress was slightly baggy. It fit reasonably well through the hips, but had a bunch of excess fabric through the torso up to my bust. The 20 fit like it had been tailored for me, especially once I gave up on the old, too-big bra and bought some new ones. (Y'all, weight loss is awesome, but expensive!) The cape back was just right for a fall evening in New England, it's warm but not too hot indoors, and gives you the ease of motion of a sleeveless dress without the upper arm anxiety. And when we were outside and the wind blew, I felt like a superhero, so that's a fun bonus. I love this dress and would gladly buy it, if I didn't firmly intend it to be too large by the next time I might need it.

Chunky, heavy and slightly uneven, but still awesome

Others have mentioned that it is heavy, and that's a true statement, though not a horrible turnoff, just something of which to be aware. The color is as pictured and the necklace mostly lays neatly. I used an extender to make it fall lower than it naturally would have, which helped to mitigate but not entirely eliminate the problem with the length of the middle strand, if this were mine, I would have a link of chain there removed to even it up. The top and bottom layers are perfectly proportional and the middle one is slightly too long, and I found myself futzing with it to get it to stay above the bottom strand.
