I wore this dress to my boyfriend's medical school graduation. It was exactly what I needed: elegant but not too formal, flattering fit, easy to iron and move around in. I typically wear a size 2 and the arm holes on this one were a bit tight, but the dress fit great everywhere else so I didn't even try on the 4 that came with it. Really pleased!

These earrings looked beautiful but the backings were a bit loose; perhaps they weren't the original backings. I wore them to a wedding and lost an earring two or three times on the dance floor. Eventually, I had to take them off for fear of losing one permanently. They were beautiful, though!

I was excited to wear this dress to a formal wedding, but should have been more thoughtful about the style before renting it. I read several reviews of women who wore this dress to weddings, and I must say, while it's a beautiful party dress, I don't think it's wedding-appropriate at all. I have pretty long legs so dresses are typically a bit shorter on me, but this one was extremely short when I tried it on (as in, don't-drop-anything short), and the back is entirely open. I would recommend this dress for a birthday or night out, but definitely not for a wedding. I ended up sending this one right back.

Renting this dress was a fortuitous accident and it worked out perfectly! I'd been searching for the ideal dress to wear to a Great Gatsby-themed fundraising gala I'd helped coordinate over several months. My original choice was the Haute Hippie Mocha Souffle Dress, but it had shipped incorrectly and was not due to arrive on time (I learned this at 7:30 p.m. on the scheduled arrival date). Luckily, I was connected with Serena in RTR Customer Service, who was a dream. She saved me from a total meltdown by overnighting three dress options (including the next size up of my original choice--my preferred size was no longer available) direct to my office. One of them was the Nicole Miller Stardust Beaded dress. I tried it on and fell in love instantly. The fit was comfortable without looking formless or baggy, and, while a little heavy, the beads made it stand out in a great way (no chafing, either!). It was also super portable (no ironing required), which was a huge help considering I had to change at the gala venue. I paired the dress with the RJ Graziano Dress Me Up Necklace, which would have been too much on a night out but was perfect for this costume gala. I got compliments on my look all night--I even made a full-length photo appearance in a local magazine afterwards! Long story short, had it not been for the shipping mishap or Serena's incredible help, this dress wouldn't have been a part of my unforgettable night. Would definitely rent again!
