Pros: understated, elegant, easy to dress up or dress down so in my opinion a very "safe" dress if you don't know what to wear, flattering for hourglass figures Cons: quite uncomfortable - there was a corset on the top to give it some shape, but it constantly digs into your ribs; there was also a part of the corset that was sticking out of the top and poking me, which was really distracting. Despite wearing a size 2 and it being tight, I was also pulling it up throughout the night. I wouldn't rent it again.

This dress is simply beautiful! I wore it to a bridal shower tea and it was perfect for the occasion. It is a nude slip (spaghetti strap) under turquoise lace. I was nervous that it would be too short, but it was about mid-thigh on me and didn't feel bag-like because I wore 3-4" heels. Perfect to dress up with fun jewelry. I found the 4 a bit roomy and maybe should have ordered a 2.

I LOVED the colors in this dress. I wore it for a formal fall event and I thought it was very "fall-y." I sometimes find Herve dresses to be too tight/low cut/trying too hard, and I love that this is a decent length (just above the knee on me, same as in the model photo), and that it's not low cut. I would really encourage someone going between the S and the M to get the M - it's still very tight and hugs in all the right places, but it doesn't make you look bulgey. One thing that's negative about it is that because it's not low cut and it's very tight, it can really push in your chest. I wore a padded bra and didn't have a problem with it. I felt like the best dressed at the event and received so many compliments from men and women alike. It's a stunning dress and worth the cost.

I was attracted to this dress because it looks just like the one Kirsten Dunst wore in the movie the bachelorette (i know, silly, but she looks so great in it!). I do not have a large chest but just could not go bra-less - the material is sort of jersey like and shows EVERYthing. I found that the way the dress pulls in in the middle to be not flattering for someone who's on the curvier side. The color is lovely.

I think this dress is perfect if you want to look fashionable and trendy, but I would not describe the dress as sexy. The material does not hug your body, which may be a negative if you like to show off your curves. I wore a nubra and it worked well. The back is lovely, the material is beautiful, I received compliments all night. It's a beautiful dress. I also found it difficult to pair shoes with it - I ended up going with a gold/metallic shoe, but I think a nude pump would have looked better.

I am a true size 4 and was planning on ordering the 40, but it was out of stock by the time I got around to purchasing (order early!!) - I really needed a dress though and I kind of had my heart set on this one so I took my chances and went with the 42. The 42 ended up being great, and I actually liked it a little big because it made the dress not so tight and short, and since I was going to a wedding I didn't want to look poured into my outfit. I will add a note on spanx because I don't see it elsewhere: usually I prefer to not wear spanx for fear of pancake tush :) but this dress does in my opinion require wearing undergarments because the material is thin and it's tight on your hips and rear. I was disappointed the dress didn't come with double sided tape, but I found some and all was well. One thing I love about this dress is it's super neutral, so it allows you to go classy with toned down colors or pair with some bright, fun heels and accessories. I loved it and would definitely order it again!

This dress is amazingly flattering. I love the HL dresses, but some of them are *too* sexy for my style...I didn't want the short/tight/low-cut all in one, so I chose this one because of the understated color, the straps, and because it was just above the knee on me (5'4"). I was able to wear a regular bra with it which was great, it didn't show in the back or anything. I didn't wear spanx because you don't need to with this dress, but also it's tight enough that spanx make you look bulgy. I wore the "lee angel ivy obsession" earrings with it and they looked so glam. I looked and felt great all night.

I got these earrings as my "surprise bling" and I was pleasantly surprised - they are definitely not earrings that I would pick out on my own, but they are beautiful and look great at night.

This dress is the epitome of classy. It fit really well, but I'm curvy and I thought it looked slightly frumpy - I think if I didn't have curves and wanted to look more curvy I might wear this dress because the fabric is structured and will give curves to anyone. I rented 2 dresses and didn't end up wearing this one - in my opinion, it's beautiful, but not *flattering* in the sense that you're not showing anything off (and it's great if that's the look you're going for!). I think it's perfect if you want a feminine and modest look.
