The overall shape is flattering! Emphasized shoulders, defined waist, etc.
It's a cool, contemporary vibe. Can be a muted, bronze outfit or you can pick up the hint of color in the fabric and emphasize that in your accessories. I felt very comfortable and attractive in this despite being my largest size after a pregnancy.

I never received it
There's a problem that happens where the mail carrier "missorts" your rentals and accidentally returns them instead of delivering them. Its happened to me a couple of times. Very painful experiences (and expensive as I then have to go shopping at the 11th hour).

This was my first rental that completely aged me. Firstly, the fit is not flattering. Meaning, yes there's cleavage but your waist looks bigger in this top. I know...I couldn't believe it either. Second, the sequin effect somehow does not come off as modern. Wasn't just me...I got a second opinion from the hubby.

Runs just the teeniest bit large so I was able to wear a small, thankfully. Truly unusual yet very flattering for women. Recommend a wide belt at waist. Can be sexy if you choose to wear it without tights and some heels. Got many compliments all evening long, esp. from Hubby.

Size down. Back is shorter than front which made dancing with the flounce hem so so fun. I have a large cup size so the top worked well for me. I can see smaller breasted gals having to pin or drape the top. I’d wear again.

It was my birthday and I felt very sexy indeed.
The pros: felt very sexy. So sexy that I almost didn't wear it. My girlfriend and husband had to talk me into wearing it once I put it on. It is truly true to size...the size 8 did fit. And I didn't have to wear a bra for my 32G breasts..but this dress is very low cut. Cons: it's very very low cut...not really intended for us girls with big boobs. But, my party was at home, so I went for it. Sexiest bday girl ever.

Fits great, I have big breasts, a small waist, big hips, and a sizable derriere. There was plenty of room up top, the waist cinched nicely and there was enough room for my bum. It showed off my figure flatteringly and subtly - front and back. ;-)

It runs very very very small. Going up one size won't cut it. Order up 2 and 3 sizes to get the fit right. I'm sure it's a phenomenal dress once you get it on.

It is not really see-through. The cut is feminine though it runs a bit large. The gold and silver decorations are small but make a big difference.

It was a memorable date.
As warm as this dress, it's not ideal for winter as it doesn't have sleeves. You don't really want to wear a jacket over it because you'll hide the gorgeous pattern. So it's more of a fall/spring dress. Great fit, great thick material, striking pattern.

I had the opportunity to see Nile Rodgers..live. I danced the entire night.
The fit is impeccable as the dress is meant to flatter and support. Especially if you wear the right underwear (Spanx!) My backup dress was one size down from my usual size...and that's what I wore. I'm of average height and I found that the L was a better length in my 4.5" heels. I can't imagine what the R would have been like. Pro: excellent support at waist, chest, hips , lace at the top was stretchy...I wear a 32G bra..and I was able to wear a strapless bra because of all of the support provided by the dress itself. Con: no real con. I highly recommend wearing supportive underwear to smooth everything. But then, I recommend this for any dress or any important event you ever attend. ;-)
