I am usually a 4 in dress size but on occasion I can wear a 6, as was the case with this dress. The only reason I marked this dress as runs small was because in the armpits the dress was too tight in the 4, and with the scratchy fabric that makes up the gold lace detailing I knew it would drive me crazy all night. Anyone who is not flat chested may want to take this into consideration when sizing. Other than that the dress fit well. The 4 was a little tight on me (besides the armpits) and the 6 was a little loose but more comfortable. The dress looked very elegant, and overall I was extremely happy with it. Glad I went with the 6 as I was comfortable all night and not afraid to eat and drink! I would recommend

Loved this dress. I have an athletic body type with smaller hips so this dress pinched in right at the waist and flared out to make my shape feminine. I am usually a size 4 in dresses (sometimes a 6) and the 4 fit very well. Perfect for a summer wedding.
