I never wear v-neck cuts yet this dress managed to be one of my favorites so far after renting 15+ dresses from RTR. While it was low cut, I didn't feel as if it were too riské for my company's winter party. I marked it as "true to size" because the fit was perfect, but I have a unique figure at 5'5", 97 lbs, and a 30D bust. If you have a larger ribcage, then I HIGHLY suggest sizing up. In addition to a great fit, I also loved the slight shimmer of the sequins and the longer sheer layer (which hit 2" below my knees) over the fitted mini dress. My only complaint was the zipper--as with most embellished dresses, it was a pain to get zipped over the seam at the waist!

I wore this for my one year wedding anniversary. My husband and I had a semi fancy lunch at a nice outdoor restaurant overlooking the lake. I wanted something pretty, but not too formal because it was lunch and because the weather was hot. This dress fit the bill and also fit like a GLOVE, in the best way possible. The fabric had a nice weight to it so that it didn't look like it was painted on, but also wasn't too hot in the Texas sun. The length was great too. I'm a true 00/0 in most dresses, so this one may run a little small, but for me it was true to size. It was really comfortable as well, but be warned: if you eat a large meal your food baby may start to show!

The dress I originally rented wasn't returned by the previous renter on time, so this was my backup that RTR let me choose. There weren't many dresses available at the last minute and I was a little hesitant to order a shift dress since I'm so petite, but this dress was a dream! The color popped beautifully without being obnoxious and it was extremely comfortable. When standing the dress was the perfect length, but whatever you do...DON'T RAISE YOUR ARMS! Your undies will make a surprise appearance if you do. Otherwise, perfect dress and I would definitely order it again!

I could gush about the beauty of this dress for days, but it wasn't without its faults, though luckily they were minor. Overall the dress was stunning in person and surprisingly comfortable. As other reviews have said, the dress is definitely more of a rose gold than a true gold color, but it doesn't take away from the beauty of it at all so it wasn't a negative for me. However, the dress did have a few stray strings here and there but I'm sure I'm the only one who noticed them--thankfully none of the sequins seemed to be loose at least. The other downside was that this dress fit a little large on me. I'm super petite, but this dress just fit a little oddly. It was fitted throughout the bust and hips, but the middle was slightly baggy, so I put a belt with it. Also, the layers/slip under the top layer kept peeking out oddly so I used double sided fashion tape to keep them in place. In review, this is a stunning dress as long as you're prepared for any small issues you may have with it! I would still rent it again...but maybe after buying a more suitable belt.

When I was planning my wedding, I wasn't even sure if I wanted a veil, therefore I knew that I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on something that had a 50/50 chance of being used. Thankfully, RTR had the perfect solution! This veil was so beautiful I actually ended up wearing it. The length and quality were great and it matched my ivory dress perfectly. My ONLY complaint was that the veil I was sent was slightly dirty on one section of the lace, but it wasn't overly noticeable unless you were really studying it, which I was. I definitely recommend this veil for any bride!

This dress is simply amazing, from the style to the shimmery fabric; pictures do no do it justice! In person the colors are much more vibrant and jewel-toned, with beautiful yet subtle shimmer. The fabric is slightly thicker, which was great for a November wedding. I'm extremely petite, so this dress did run a little large on me, but it was nothing a bit of pinning along a seam couldn't take care of! The length however was great, it came a few inches above my knees. I got compliments all night and would love to own this dress one day! I definitely recommend it!

I wore this dress to a wedding rehearsal dinner and it was a huge hit. I rented both the 38 and the 40, but didn't even bother trying on the 40 because the 38 fit so well. I'm extremely petite, so I can understand how this dress may run small on other girls. My only complaint was that the zipper was a bugger. It zipped fine until it got to the velvet band around the waist, then it got stuck big time due to the thicker fabric. Everything else was great though. The fabric was very high quality and comfortable and the lace was in decent shape as well. The length was also perfect for my height. I would definitely recommend this dress to a friend!

I rented this dress for my engagement pictures, which were taken outdoors in Austin in September. The temperature was just above 90 degrees, but this dress helped to keep me cool. I’m extremely petite, but the OO fit me perfectly. Even at 5’ 4”, this dress was still pretty short and I had to be careful any time I needed to bend down. The color POPS and the material is very light weight (and lined), which was perfect for an outdoor end-of-May wedding in Texas. I loved the open back, and felt very comfortable with the NuBra seamless adhesive bra. I didn’t have any problems with the sleeves falling down, but I can definitely see how that could become a problem if you’re moving around a lot. Overall, a perfect dress! One of my absolute favorite RTR rentals!

I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this dress, but I suppose I am a little biased since it’s the dress I was wearing when my boyfriend proposed! I rented this dress as part of my birthday gift (thanks, RTR Pro!) and it fit like a dream. I ordered the OO and the 0 for my backup, but the OO fit my very petite frame perfectly. The length wasn’t too long or too short, and the chest and waist fit perfectly without being too snug. The dress is slightly heavy due to the overlay, but luckily it wasn’t too hot. We ate outside around 7:30PM in the beginning of May in Texas on The Oasis and luckily I didn’t melt or even get too warm. The silky fabric underneath provided a nice shimmer when the light hit it just right. My only complaint is that the lace seemed to be slightly faded, but I think I’m the only one who noticed.

I rented this dress for my birthday (thanks, RTR Pro!), but unfortunately I wore a different one because this dress was far too large. I’m extremely petite, but normally a 0 will fit me just fine, but in order for this dress to fit, I would have had to had it taken in three inches on each side. I was disappointed, because it is beautiful, but it is what it is. The dress was also missing the belt, which is another reason I only gave it three stars.

The color, the fit, the feel--everything about this dress was perfect! At 5' 4" (and a half), I felt like I was in-between a 0R and a 0L, according to the chart, so I ended up ordering both lengths. The 0R was perfect for my height if I wore 4 inch heels, which I did. Anything less and the dress would have been too long. For reference, the 0L was about six inches longer than the 0R. I got plenty of compliments--from the color to the style. It was very light weight and comfortable. I would definitely rent it again!

I would have kept this dress forever had it been possible. It was a great choice for a hot, summer wedding and I received a ton of compliments. It's a very light weight and flowy, fun dress. The zero fit me perfectly. My only complaint was that the zipper had to be manhandled quite a bit in order to make it zip and unzip. But oh man, does that yellow pop! This review is mostly geared toward smaller girls. I’m 5’ 4” and 95 pounds but I can normally get away with a zero. This dress on me was slightly large. It went all the way down to my knees and was a little too wide as well, but the bust fit perfectly (32B). But as an easy solution I used the tape that came with my rental (and some extra I had as well) to “hem” the sides by half an inch and the bottom by two inches. The tape held all night and my dress looked wonderful! I got so many compliments!

I’m tiny--5’ 4” and 95 pounds. Usually a 0 fits, and while this dress in a 0 fit as well it was SNUG, but still perfectly acceptable to wear at a formal affair for me. The blue is absolutely gorgeous and it it does stretch. The arm holes were a little snug however. Go for this dress--just be sure to size up!
