This dress was gorgeous and I planned to wear it to a friend's wedding, until I showed all my other friends who hit me with a resounding "NO", because it looks way too much like white to wear to a wedding. It's beautiful, so would definitely recommend for any other occasion. But I didn't want to risk looking like the girl who wore white to a wedding.

I felt beautiful in this dress and very comfortable! It fits VERY small in the chest, as the other reviews already suggested; I am only a 34B and had to go a size up just to get the dress zipped, and it was still VERY snug while wearing a bra (the dress flattened me out too much to go without a bra, but if you're okay with that, you could get away without wearing one). If you're well endowed in the chest, you're definitely going to want to go several sizes up so you can breathe. The shoulder strap was also a little constricting, it felt like it was constructed for shorter woman and I felt like I had to hunch over to make it comfortable. If you're any taller than 5'6'' and want to wear heels, DEFINITELY order the Long. I'm 5'6'' wore a 6R with 2.5 inch heels and hit the ground perfectly, but had I worn taller heels it would have looked funny. Would definitely order this again!

I didn't end up wearing this dress to the wedding I went to on NYE. It fit well and the length was perfect on my, BUT the twist at the waist created an illusion in my belly area that resembled a pregnancy. Even my husband thought it looked strange. Definitely wasn't flattering on my body, so I chose to wear something else. This dress just didn't do me any favors.

If you are even on the fence about getting this dress at all, JUST DO IT! It is PERFECT! I was nervous about wearing something so bold to a wedding but all my insecurities went out the door as soon as I arrived.. I received compliment after compliment! My husband couldn't stop talking about how stunning I looked and he received compliments about my dress even more than I did! You'll truly feel amazing in this dress! Here are the key pieces of advice I have: DRESS LENGTH: I did have to go buy a different pair of shoes with a shorter heel, but I expected that after reading all of the reviews. SHOES: The dress is definitely a rose gold (gorgeous!) so don't plan on wearing gold or silver shoes, as they will clash BADLY. I wore 2-3 inch pointed closed toe Sam Edelman nude heels and the dress draped perfectly over them, yet I could still easily walk without tripping over the dress. BRA: I was able to wear a regular bra with straps after buying one of those "low back straps" from Victoria's Secret that make your bra lower in the back. I put my husband on bra patrol all night to make sure it never made an appearance but I had no issues, even while dancing like a fool! FIT: The overall fit was wonderful! I would consider my upper arms bigger than most girls so I was worried the capped sleeves would be too tight but they were okay for me. The dress does make it difficult to put your arms over your head, but once I accepted that I couldn't flail my arms while dancing, it didn't bother me a bit. :)

The fit was consistent with all the reviews, ran a little large. But it's all dependent on how you WANT the dress to fit you. I ordered the 4 and 2, and ended up wearing the 2 because of a better overall fit, especially in the sleeves. However, the 4 looked just fine and I definitely could have gotten away with it. I received SO many compliments on this dress! It had a funny smell, presumably from the multiple wears by different renters, but I would definitely rent this dress again!
